I bought this to replace a standard foam mattress topper that we have had for many years. This new topper is extremely comfortable. It feels like we are sleeping on a cloud, although we have a firm mattress. I would recommend the Serta 4” Pillow-Top and Memory Foam Mattress Topper to anyone wanting a really comfortable place to get a great night’s sleep.

This is the perfect mattress topper for an air mattress. Adds a good bit of height and gives the air mattress some cushion. I’ve used it on both an air mattress (loved it) and on top of my regular mattress (not a fan). The foam gets very warm while sleeping when used on regular mattress. It’s comfy but almost too much cushion when used on a regular mattress. If you love a soft squishy bed, highly recommend! If you prefer some firmness, pass on this item.

This is a great topper. It has transformed a way too hard mattress into comfortable softness. My husband who likes a firm mattress doesn't mind this topper, it is not too soft. The topper comes with a washable cover and will require deep pocket sheets.

This Serta 4" pillow-top foam mattress has completely changed our bed for the better. We have been having a Sleep Number flex bed for 5 years and we never did find our correct number for comfort. My husband stopped sleeping in the bed and I suffer with a bad back. We wanted a bed like the luxury beds at upscale hotels which are soft but give you support. So before buying a new bed I decided to try this out. This pillow-top has given us so much comfort while still being able to use our flex bed. It is very comfortable and feels luxurious. It's perfect for us and we are so happy we bought it. Plus, it saved us at least $4,000 on buying a new bed.

I purchased this topper because the mattress I had was causing me to wake every morning with a backache. I decided to go for the 4 inch version to ensure I had the most comfort (even though the 3 inch was on sale.) After the first night of sleep, I woke up without pain. I've slept on this topper for about three weeks and so far, I have no complaints. It really does make the bed more comfortable. Now, a few other things you might want to know. The topper arrived in a cardboard box but it was only wrapped in plastic - the plastic was not completely sealed though which I found odd. The topper did have a bright yellow color on part of it (which some other folks have said looked like urine.) I am not sure why the color is only partly there but having the topper not completely sealed in the plastic bag made me wonder. There is a slight smell once it is opened up, but it dissipated pretty quickly. These things weren't issues for me, but if you tend to be particular, you might want to consider passing on this item. I just wanted a comfortable mattress topper and this fit the bill. (Mine also came with a zippered cover as well.)

I bought two of these for my twin boys. We were pleasantly surprised at the plushness and added comfort they provided. Just note, regular sheets will not fit over it AND the mattress; additionally, without anything stabilizing it like straps, it can "travel" across the mattress in the night. Overall, my boys are resting much better, and the pads are extending the lives of their current mattresses.

my mom raved about how good this is. but for me I can't sleep on this, its way too soft it does not fit my bed right, poor job on cutting the foam. I would not recommend to anyone, as I wish I could get my money back and or return. but there is no return policy

I was given a California king mattress that was still in excellent shape. The only downside my daughter told me was that it was FIRM and she recommended I get a mattress pad. We went to our Sam's store and saw a sample of this 4 in pad and knew this was it! Since they didn't have our size in stock, we ordered it. Very happy with it! Husband now says he hates getting up in the morning because the bed feels so good!

We've had this topper for several weeks now. Wife thinks it's ok. But the jury is still out for me. Lucky You, she wanted me to write the review. She enjoys that her elbow pains have subsided but are not gone. I on the other hand get lost in the foam. I sonk down onto it and the air can't circulate around me so I end up sweating all night long. I get so lost in there that it makes it hard to roll over. Once I lat down basically, that will be my position for the night! In the morning it is even worse. Takes me 3 or 4 tries to get up using a rocking motion, Just to situp to get off the mattress. Another thing is that the edges seem rounded so I always feel like I'm going to fall off the bed. So a lack of sleep trying to get cool and the extra exercise to get out of bed in the morning are pluses I guess. On a more positive note 180.00 dollars to make the wife happy seems cheap!

Very comfortable and worth the price. I ordered the single size. just wish I could have ordered it in a "super single" size. I use it on a converted water bed of that size and although it doesn't cover the entire bed it is the only size that is workable for a super single size . There are some super single size toppers out there but they appear to be inferior quality.
