[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Red Bull is fine as a functional energy drink, but I don’t think it stands out. The classic Red Bull smell and taste are still there, though the flavor is not as good as other leading brands, and this last can even felt slightly lighter than usual. My biggest issue is that the added sugar is too high, already exceeding the recommended daily limit for women, while the caffeine content at 80 mg is too low for my needs. At that point, I would rather have a double espresso. Overall, I prefer the sugar-free version, and I think Red Bull would be a better choice if it contained less sugar and more caffeine.

I also love how the fizz isn’t too much but also not enough. I used this before a swim meet and felt great but also the caffeine isn’t too much that you stay shaking and feel uncomfortable. Overall Redbull’s are my favorite energy drinks for swim mornings.

Red Bull gave me the extra boost I needed while playing disc golf - improving an already great game. The flavor is similar to bubble gum, I found it to be sweet and different from other energy drink flavors while not being too over powering. The aftertaste was very sweet and long lasting. Overall, I found Red Bull Energy Drink to be both sweet and refreshing. I can now understand why Red Bull is so popular!
