Dear Nexxus, I had been a regular user of Humectress conditioner and before that, Redken Climatress, for 35 years! But in recent months, since you changed the Humectress formula, I have found that it fails to leave my very dry, thick, finely-textured hair moisturized, soft, shiny, and tangle-free the way the former formula did. And judging by how many of the other customers made similar complaints, the new Humectress is a flop! >> Please bring back the old Humectress formula-- your customers and you will be glad you did! I have used this product for many years and have noticed over the last year or so it has changed. The smell, the texture are different and the product is just not as effective. I've noticed if I come across a bottle with a gray cap (not black) it is the old formula. I usually buy as many bottles as are on hand. Please bring back the old formula!

I have used the old Humectress for 20 years. It gave my hair volume and shine and was fabulous. I have very long, mostly straight reddish brown hair and I used to get sooo many compliments on how shiny and full it was. Then I started using the new black top Humectess. This is just awful. It smells horrible and leaves my hair limp and lifeless. Also, in the winter, the static electricity is terrible. I never had that problem with the old formulation. This new formulation is a cheap, dime-store type of conditioner. You would do just as well to purchase one of the much cheaper products for $1.00. I can't believe they changed the formulation and are still charging the same price. I will gladly pay $30 for a large bottle of the gray top conditioner. I wouldn't pay 2 cents for the new one. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULATION!

I used this product for at least 15 years but stopped using it over a year ago after you changed the formula. It smells awful and does not work as well as the prior version. Too bad. I am not sure why Nexxus is opting to scent their product so strongly. I have thought about trying some of their newer products but I just can't stand the smell.

I've been using Humetress for over 30 years, and recently purchased a bottle with a black cap, rather than the grey cap. I hate the new formula. I will not purchase it again, and am now forced to look for a different conditioner. Really disappointed. LIZ

I've used Humectress for many years as a leave-in hair dressing. It's wonderful at helping my hair to shine and tames my frizzies. I can't imagine why a company would choose to change a winning formula to something I won't use. I miss the old formula. This new formula smells bad and doesn't work well as a leave-in any longer. Please go back to the old formula or at least sell the original formula as a hair dressing for those of us that loved it. Sorry to say I'm going through your competitor's products now in search of a replacement. I'd return to Nexxus Humectress in a heartbeat, if it were only the original formulation. Thank you for what used to be a great product.

I used to LOVE this product. It made my hair super shiny and soft and left an amazing fragrance. However, the formula has been changed and the frangrance altered. My hair does not look or feel anywhere near how it used too. I have very coarse, curly, dry hair and have a hard time finding products that make it manageable. Unfortunately, this product just doesn't please me any longer. I would certainly recommend trying something else.

Sooo disappointed that you no longer have Humectress Ultimate Moisture Conditioner. I've used it exclusively for 4 years. I gladly paid the big money to get such a great product. The new Humectress Conditioner is no different than any other low end conditioner. I might as well be using Suave. * I used twice as much when applying, waiting for it to feel like the old Humectress Ulitimate Moisture Conditioner, but it never happened. I could tell when I rinsed out that my hair wasn't moisturized. I could tell even more when I dried it. My hair did not style the same, did not look the same - flat, dry. I won't use it again. Today I'm finding a new conditioner.

I have been using Humectress for years - it helped condition my fine, graying hair. I recently had to purchase the "improved" Humectress and do not like it at all. The fragrance is much too strong, and the product itself is nothing like the original. I agree with the other reviews - bring back the original product!!!

Change in formula The new formula 'with Caviar' just doesn't make it. I loved the original formula and used it for years. The new one leaves my hair light and fluffy with hardly any body or substance. This came as a complete surprise and I had no chance to stock up on the original before it disappeared from the shelves. That old saying..."if it isn't broken, don't fix it" applies perfectly in this case. A market research study should have ben conducted before any change was made.
