I used to LOVE this product. It made my hair super shiny and soft and left an amazing fragrance. However, the formula has been changed and the frangrance altered. My hair does not look or feel anywhere near how it used too. I have very coarse, curly, dry hair and have a hard time finding products that make it manageable. Unfortunately, this product just doesn't please me any longer. I would certainly recommend trying something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how they did it but this conditioner is a miracle in a bottle. I love how the light, sweet, natural, coconut scent matches with the shampoo but isn't EXACTLY the same (a bit more floral and tropical)! This leads to a nice scent layering instead of a one note fragrance. I have pretty thick, slightly wavy, dry hair but after the first use it was instant results. Because my hair is so thick I have issues with it being weighed down and lifeless. After use it felt like my hair got a needed drink of water. Every strand was "plump", full and hydrated. My hair was much more volumized and had a satin/silk like feel that created lots of movement and life. This was done without any kind of filmy feeling or residue coating. I've been using the system for more than 2 months now and haven't seen any sort of build up of any kind. Great product!

This change has made me nearly cry. For the third time now, the formula of this conditioner has changed. The first change, was shocking, but I was able to live with it...and I actually grew to like it almost as much, just wished it was thicker, like the original. This time, however, it is completely unacceptable. It smells horrible, leaves my hair tangled, and it makes feel like straw. For the first time in over 15 years I'm forced to find a new conditioner. I'm speechless Nexxus, why the change?

I loved the old formula with the gray cap. I have fine hair and for some reason the old formula just worked. It didn't weigh my hair down, left it soft, and no flyaways. So miss this product. The new formula is to heavy for my hair. I have yet to find something that works close to how this product worked for me. I understand change but to bad you had to eliminate this formula. My search will continue.

What a shame the formula of Humectress, omitting some of the first ingredients listed on the old bottles. cyclopentasiloxane, bis (c13-15 alkoxy) pg-amodimethicone. Adding hydrolzed proteins did not make up for the ingredients removed. Please go back to the old formula and charge more if you need to.

I'm not sure what I will do now that the original leave-in version, that's been around for decades, is gone! I've been using Humectress since early 1980's and everyday since 1990's. I have very fine yet wavy/curley hair and could always count on Humectress especially on dry hair to make my hair look really, really great and full. It saved me many times It smelled good too. It's fine to add new product but to change this product completely after all these decades is more than disappointing! Why not create another product - dont' change the classics. Also, Therrape is different

I don't know what you were thinking when you changed the formula for Humectress. I've been using it as a leave-in conditioner for about six years and have thought it a wonderful product. It was a great conditioner and left me feeling that my hair was clean and fresh. I hate soaps and shampoos that leave an odor behind and will not use the new formula based on the smell alone. If you want a new product why don't you give it a new name. You'll be able to tell if it's better or not by the number of people who switch to it from (the original) Humectress.

Sooo disappointed that you no longer have Humectress Ultimate Moisture Conditioner. I've used it exclusively for 4 years. I gladly paid the big money to get such a great product. The new Humectress Conditioner is no different than any other low end conditioner. I might as well be using Suave. * I used twice as much when applying, waiting for it to feel like the old Humectress Ulitimate Moisture Conditioner, but it never happened. I could tell when I rinsed out that my hair wasn't moisturized. I could tell even more when I dried it. My hair did not style the same, did not look the same - flat, dry. I won't use it again. Today I'm finding a new conditioner.

I am so sad that Nexxus has changed this product.I've used this product for 20+ years. I probably won't continue to use it. It no longer has a "coconutty" fragrance, it has a "herbally" fragrance which I think is awful. You can not leave it in your hair. I just think this was one product that was perfected and did not need to be changed. How can perfection be changed? It is so sad.

Please Bring Back the Old Formula My Review: I loved the old formula humectress and I cannot believe this Humectress was changed. I tried to like the new formula but it leaves my hair dull, lifeless and feeling dirty. It is nothing like the old formula and I cannot imagine anyone liking the new one. The lovely, original scent has gone and now Humectress smells just like all the other drugstore conditioners. The price should actually be dropped to the price of the $3. products since the performance is the same. I used the old formula for years and every day was a good hair day. I have long, blonde highlighted hair and the old formula was the best conditioner on the market... better than salon products. I cannot even find a salon product as good as the old formula. Please bring it back!!!!!!! Why would you change perfection!!!!!!!
