What happened to the ultimate moisturizing conditioner? The one I have been using faithfully since 1989, when my stylist required me to use it for a month to restore moisture, before she would perm my hair. It was light enough to use as a leave in and left my hair silky, smooth, & tangle free. The new formula is heavy & sticky and leaves my hair tangled. Why would u remove ingredients like coconut oil & honey extract? I understand the need to improve products & the concerns of certain product ingredients, but it simply does not work as well on my hair. I will be searching for something new

I loved the old formula with the gray cap. I have fine hair and for some reason the old formula just worked. It didn't weigh my hair down, left it soft, and no flyaways. So miss this product. The new formula is to heavy for my hair. I have yet to find something that works close to how this product worked for me. I understand change but to bad you had to eliminate this formula. My search will continue.

I don't know what you were thinking when you changed the formula for Humectress. I've been using it as a leave-in conditioner for about six years and have thought it a wonderful product. It was a great conditioner and left me feeling that my hair was clean and fresh. I hate soaps and shampoos that leave an odor behind and will not use the new formula based on the smell alone. If you want a new product why don't you give it a new name. You'll be able to tell if it's better or not by the number of people who switch to it from (the original) Humectress.

I have used Humectress Ultimate Moisture for over 20 years. It left my hair soft, shiny and full of volume.I even introduced the old product to my daughter. I was upset to find out that the conditioner formula was changed. I tried the new formula and was very disappointed. The new formula left my hair, limp, frizzy and full of static.My daughter says that the new formula makes her hair limp, frizzy and full of static too. Now we have to look for another conditioner that will give me the results that Humectress Ultimate Moisture gave me. You have lost two customers . Please do not try to change a product that works in the future.

I wonder if all these people raving about Humectress have used up their last big bottle and tapped into the new formula yet? It is NOTHING like the original - I agree with other comments - very greasy, smells bad, makes hair feel dirty and stringy. Please bring back the old formula. As the other reviewer said I would not pay $3 for the new version. It is worse than dollar store quality. Very disappointed in what USED to be a fantastic, high-quality brand

It's so disappointing that they changed this product. My mom introduced me to humectress when I was young. We both loved it. We used it on our dry ends and as a conditioner if our hair felt really dried out - like during swimming season. I've never found anything that worked the same. I don't like the smell of this now and it doesn't work even close to as well as the original.

This product lathers more than any shampoo I've ever used and leaves a heavy residual, regardless of how little you use and how long you rinse. For years, this was the only conditioner I ever used. Now, I've no choice other than to throw away the 3/4 full bottle I purchased last month. It's horrible. Will never purchase this product again.

What a shame the formula of Humectress, omitting some of the first ingredients listed on the old bottles. cyclopentasiloxane, bis (c13-15 alkoxy) pg-amodimethicone. Adding hydrolzed proteins did not make up for the ingredients removed. Please go back to the old formula and charge more if you need to.

I've used Nexxus products for years and love them. I enjoy the new lines that came out last year Frizz Defy and Pro Mend. I have used Humectress for years but recently purchased the new formula bottle and did not like the new frangrance and consistancy. Humectress used to be thicker and have a lighter scent. I enjoyed the old formula how it smelled and conditioned much deeper. The new formula I will continue to use but I did not enjoy it as much. I will use a different brand for my deeper conditioner. I like Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. Thank you for continuing to make Nexxus products that are amazingly helpful in managing curly, coarse & dry hair. :)

I've used Humectress since 1985. Its changed a fee times this latest caviar version Does not work! I too get blood shot eyes, itchy ears and redness around my neck and shoulders there is some ingredient whether its fragrance, dye not sure but its there. My main complaint is it just isn't working on my hair. Its dry and looks like its stripping my color? I am going to try the Emergecee line today but from the smell I bet I get an allergy too! Please bring back your previous version otherwise i will be going back to Redken or JPM line. Sorry!
