I Have used this product for over ten years and highly recommended it to many clients in our salon. Then the product went public and could be bought in local stores which was fine until you changed the product. It is horrible now. The new packaging is great but you changed the smell of Humectress and the product itself. It is NOT the same conditioner as it was before and I am hoping you will realize that and change it back. The NEW Humectress does not condition the same, does not rinse clean as before, and weighs my hair down. As you can tell I do not like the changes that were made to my favorite conditioner one bit. I have been running around town the last few months buying up every bottle I can find in the original packaging, but running out of places to purchase it quickly. PLEASE GIVE US BACK OUR ORIGINAL HUMECTRESS.

I have been using Therappe and Humectress for a very long time. Keeping it stocked up in the bathroom cabinet. When it came time to buy more I had to get the new formula. I wasn't hesitant even though I read the negative reviews. I thought maybe those people were having a bad day or they were planted by a competitor to post a negative review. Let me tell you, I was wrong. I can't believe the difference in this awful new formula. My hair would always be soft and manageable with the old formula. When I'd use the round brush to give it some wavy body it would take and hold until the next shampoo. Not with this new formula. My hair is not soft after shampooing/conditioning (sort of reminds me of straw) and it will not hold any kind of style I try to give it. I am very disappointed. I want to throw this stuff away and get something different but it cost too much. When the time comes to buy shampoo and conditioner again, you can bet it won't be Therappe or Humectress. I can't figure out why they would change something that didn't need changing.

What happened to the ultimate moisturizing conditioner? The one I have been using faithfully since 1989, when my stylist required me to use it for a month to restore moisture, before she would perm my hair. It was light enough to use as a leave in and left my hair silky, smooth, & tangle free. The new formula is heavy & sticky and leaves my hair tangled. Why would u remove ingredients like coconut oil & honey extract? I understand the need to improve products & the concerns of certain product ingredients, but it simply does not work as well on my hair. I will be searching for something new

I have used this product for many years and have noticed over the last year or so it has changed. The smell, the texture are different and the product is just not as effective. I've noticed if I come across a bottle with a gray cap (not black) it is the old formula. I usually buy as many bottles as are on hand. Please bring back the old formula!

I already returned your new Humectress product. It did not compare to the Ultimate moisture conditioner that I have used for many years. So sorry to see this change in formula. I hope you will consider going back to the old formula. It was much better

Recently, this product was reformulated. I used the old formula with the black cap, for at least 20 years. It was great, I have long curly hair and the old Humectress had the right amount of moisture, and I always recommended it. This new formula makes my hair "crunchy" and sticky. It is not good. Bring the old formula back please! And bing the old Exxtra gel back too!!

I really hate when companies "improve" on a time-tested, well loved product, because the improvement never meets the expectations of the original. I will never understand why Nexxus felt the need to change the formula on Humectress. I miss the leave-in, lightweight, SPF protection and the light, pleasant fragrance that used to leave my hair soft, silky and moisturized. The new Humectress smells very perfumey, and I really can't use it the way I prefer. I hope that you read these reviews and listen to the long-time customers you are alienating. I have been using Nexxus Products for nearly 25 years, and I am so disappointed with this new formula. Please bring back the old Humectress.

This product lathers more than any shampoo I've ever used and leaves a heavy residual, regardless of how little you use and how long you rinse. For years, this was the only conditioner I ever used. Now, I've no choice other than to throw away the 3/4 full bottle I purchased last month. It's horrible. Will never purchase this product again.

I've been using Humectress for over 20 years. The new formula is the worst ever. Why would they try to "fix" something that is not broken. I'll have to find something else. The new formula smells like a bottle of waste chemicals, and leaves my hair dry and brittle. It's the worst.

I used Humectress conditioner for over twenty years, and I was so disappointed when the formula changed. It was the best stuff ever, and I didn't mind paying a little extra for it. The new formula feels slimy in my hair and is hard to rinse out, but then my fine hair is still tangled and hard to comb... (It reminds me of a cheap drugstore conditioner!) I bought as many bottles of the old stuff as I could find, but now I am on the search for a product that is similar to the old Humectress. Needless to say, I'm wasting a lot money trying all these new things. Does Nexxus make another product that is similar to the old Humectress????
