Bought a bottle of Humectress unaware the formula had changed. I thought I had mistakenly picked up shampoo instead of conditioner. I am actually getting more knots from using Humectress than if I use Therapy shampoo on its own. More knots, dry looking hair and static. All from this new formula. I'm tossing it. What a shame.

I used this product for many years it used to leave my hair soft and beautiful. The new formula leaves my hair dry and fried and I stopped using it immediately. Needless to say I will not buy it again unless you bring back the old formula. So sad you changed it.

I have used the old Humectress for 20 years. It gave my hair volume and shine and was fabulous. I have very long, mostly straight reddish brown hair and I used to get sooo many compliments on how shiny and full it was. Then I started using the new black top Humectess. This is just awful. It smells horrible and leaves my hair limp and lifeless. Also, in the winter, the static electricity is terrible. I never had that problem with the old formulation. This new formulation is a cheap, dime-store type of conditioner. You would do just as well to purchase one of the much cheaper products for $1.00. I can't believe they changed the formulation and are still charging the same price. I will gladly pay $30 for a large bottle of the gray top conditioner. I wouldn't pay 2 cents for the new one. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULATION!

I agree with the review below. Same thing happened to me. I LOVED the old Therappe shampoo and Humectress conditioner. I also do not like the new formula at all. Unfortunately I don't think there is a Nexxus product that has the ingredients that I want so I will have to switch brands. I hope I can find bottles of the old stuff but I doubt it since I've seen the new products out for a while now. I've used this conditioner for years. I have long, color treated hair. This has been the perfect conditioner for me for so long. I loved the smell, the texture, the way it worked to keep my hair healthy. Now? I bought it thinking it was the same product in an updated bottle. Not even close. I hate the smell, the texture, and the results. My hair just does not feel conditioned either. The tangles are worse. And, much like that hideous "light" conditioner in one of the other product lines, it very stupidly causes plumbing issues in my shower if there's the least little bit of hair in the drain. Of course, I bought the liter bottle since I had no clue what I was getting into.

I LOVED the old formula and treasure the little bit i have left from a jumbo bottle I bought years ago. It was great for the gym or swimming pool to be able to put the dime-sized amount in my hand and LEAVE it in. It was worth the high price for the convenience. This new stuff is just like all the other rinse out conditioner except that I'm supposed to sit in the shower for 3-5 minutes waiting for it to work. That and it's a lot more expensive. I won't waste my money on this stuff again.

I've used Nexxus Humectress for nearly two decades and have been very satisfied with its performance. It left my hair soft, shiny and light -- but not fly away. My hair had volume and was easy to comb. Your new formula leaves my hair heavy. There is no volume or fullness. My hair felt as though it was heavily coated with plastic. It took three shampooings to remove the stuff. Consequently, I emptied the remainder of the new formula down the drain. Please bring back the old formula or I'll have to change brands.

I have used Therape Shampoo and Humetress Conditioner for 25+ years. I cannot handle products with a strong perfume fragrance. The original Humetress had a minimal fragrance that was listed almost as the last ingredient. I could handle that fragrance and loved the product. The new Humetress has a strong fragrance which is the ninth ingredient. I need an allergy pill to use the new product. Please tell me how to order an original version of the product.

I have loved Humectress for many years but could immediately tell that something had changed without looking at the label. My hair was limp and lifeless and the scent was not pleasant. Not sure if I will continue to purchase after this bottle is finished.
