Im so unhappy with this product. Can not comb my hair through after my shampoo like I did with the original humectress conditioner. My hair seems dirtier faster. My hair feels heavy,doesn't hold the curl. I bought 2 bottles of Humectress conditioner and am returning one of them. Please make the original humectress conditioner product again!

I was so disappointed when I opened my new bottle of Humectress. I've been using this product for years for its light weight formula. I will never buy the "new improved" Humectress again. My hair hates it. I have two other friends who have said the same thing. Like one of the other reviews said "If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it".

I was really excited when I first bought this product. I was looking for something that added moisture to my hair, and would eliminate frizz and flyways. Unfortunately, the commercials that you see about this product on TV is not true. My hair did not feel silky smooth AT ALL!!!!!! The product itself felt like very hard jelly in my hand. I googled this problem, and found that it started when Nexxus changed their ingredients and products. I really wish that they would bring their old one back!!!!!

I have been using Humectress for years - it helped condition my fine, graying hair. I recently had to purchase the "improved" Humectress and do not like it at all. The fragrance is much too strong, and the product itself is nothing like the original. I agree with the other reviews - bring back the original product!!!

Kindly bring back the old Humectress!!!!!!!!! Not only did you change the scent, but how the product can be used. Took me a while to figure out that my hair felt dirtier after using the new Humectress because the directions had changed: no more putting it on damp hair and leaving it there, you have to wash it out!!! Would have been nice if you had put the change in how to use information in bold on the revised product. I don't have time for one more timed step in my hair care. Until you bring back the old Humectress, I will no longer use the product. I will miss it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how they did it but this conditioner is a miracle in a bottle. I love how the light, sweet, natural, coconut scent matches with the shampoo but isn't EXACTLY the same (a bit more floral and tropical)! This leads to a nice scent layering instead of a one note fragrance. I have pretty thick, slightly wavy, dry hair but after the first use it was instant results. Because my hair is so thick I have issues with it being weighed down and lifeless. After use it felt like my hair got a needed drink of water. Every strand was "plump", full and hydrated. My hair was much more volumized and had a satin/silk like feel that created lots of movement and life. This was done without any kind of filmy feeling or residue coating. I've been using the system for more than 2 months now and haven't seen any sort of build up of any kind. Great product!

I wonder if all these people raving about Humectress have used up their last big bottle and tapped into the new formula yet? It is NOTHING like the original - I agree with other comments - very greasy, smells bad, makes hair feel dirty and stringy. Please bring back the old formula. As the other reviewer said I would not pay $3 for the new version. It is worse than dollar store quality. Very disappointed in what USED to be a fantastic, high-quality brand

i have been using humectress for many years, and loved everything about it, especially the fragrance and the creaminess. when i started a new bottle a couple of weeks ago, i couldn't believe that it's now a totally different product- much less creamy and the distinctive fragrance is GONE. i cannot believe they changed it without a warning on the bottle - i bought a huge bottle and now i'm stuck with it (not that i'm going to use it). if it's a question of cost cutting, i'd gladly pay more for the real humectress, and they couldn't pay me to use the new stuff.

I've used Humectress since 1985. Its changed a fee times this latest caviar version Does not work! I too get blood shot eyes, itchy ears and redness around my neck and shoulders there is some ingredient whether its fragrance, dye not sure but its there. My main complaint is it just isn't working on my hair. Its dry and looks like its stripping my color? I am going to try the Emergecee line today but from the smell I bet I get an allergy too! Please bring back your previous version otherwise i will be going back to Redken or JPM line. Sorry!

It's so disappointing that they changed this product. My mom introduced me to humectress when I was young. We both loved it. We used it on our dry ends and as a conditioner if our hair felt really dried out - like during swimming season. I've never found anything that worked the same. I don't like the smell of this now and it doesn't work even close to as well as the original.
