I love the design of the reminder on top of the pitcher!!! I know there are more filtered pitchers coming out on the market, however I feel safe and very satisfied with my Brita pitcher!! However, when I replaced the filter with a new one, the indicator immediately showed "Replace". I changed that for another new one. The same thing happened

We have one in the refrigerator, one on the countertop (for those who don't like cold water) and we have one we use to fill the pets' water bowls. The water tastes so much better and we aren't filling the environment with plastic bottles.

They also only require you to rinse them for 15 seconds, which is convenient. For how well they work, they are not expensive, either, and last for a really long time, especially if you purchase them in a set. This is why my family has been purchasing from this company for many years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As long-time Brita customer, I just wanted to say how pleased I've been with the vastly improved design of the standard filters over the originals. The old ones allowed tiny charcoal filtration bits to float up into the filtering chamber. While I always knew they were harmless, they just weren't aesthetic. Aesthetics and harmony in my daily life are very important to me. The choice of pitcher styles and colors is nice in that way, too. I think it's great that Brita continues to innovate with all its product designs and positive environmental actions: Bravo, Brita!

I use it mostly for drinking water and for making coffee, and he uses it to make his "flavored" water drinks (powders). It's always cold and clean-tasting, if you know what I mean, and we love the reminder button on top of our pitcher. I also found out that these filters are recylable (special programs online).

I've ditched environmentally-unfriendly disposable plastic bottled water and I've always got cold, filtered water in the fridge thanks to the Brita standard pitcher filter.
