They last so long even with as much water as we drink. We have recently moved from WI (we had hard water) to AZ (we have a water softener) - so we'll see how long the filters last in this new enviroment.

I have been using Brita Pitchers and Filters for at least 20 years. I love the product, however in the last few years I have noticed charcoal leeching out of the filter as I fill the pitcher. Why? and can this be corrected.

Sorry, but this is not improved. It doesn't fit the pitcher (an older one), it floats around, and does not filter since it doesn't fit and stay where it should. Bring back the originals! New is NOT always improved.

I have very hard water - rust & lime, and no water softner. I need Brita to filter it or it has such a nasty taste and look, no one wants to drink it. Can't afford to use bottled water all the time. Brita is the best solution for me.

I have tried every way to fit this new filter to create a good seal and it will not work. Still leaks through so now part of the water is just tap water. Old filter worked fine and never leaked.

These are super vital to keeping the water in your Brita water pitcher crisp and filtered. They are super easy to install and seem to last a good 2-3 months before indicating they need replacing. The water does come out noticeably better tasting.

I bought a bunch of these filters just to find out that they do not fit any of the three brita pitchers at home. The old filters fit completely fine, however the new filters leak water out from the sides.

Perfect at home filter for excellent water quality. Easy to use, value for money is great, and leads to a great taste no matter what your regular tap water tastes like.

I keep these in my closets year round.
