Just about everyone I have given water from my Brita Pitcher has said "this tastes so good". It does make my water an option for all to drink....and they do!!

I was immediately able to tell the difference in the taste after I replaced it! It was easy to replace, and I am able to recycle the old filter by simply requesting a tracking label from Brita! I highly recommend this filter :)

Brita does a great job filtering the minerals and help make make the water taste better, a lot of money saved from not buying bottled water at the store and not adding waste into the environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Brita filter in the pitcher all the time. But I have noticed that on this last filter every time I open the pitcher it has many little black specs in it. It's coming out of the filter. I don't know why this keeps happening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not working for Brita, but I have used a Brita Filter for years. Before taking the time to write this, I did a little research and learned that 8.8 million metric tons of plastic waste enters the ocean from coastal communities each year (Wikipedia: Plastic Pollution). That's a lot of plastic being thrown into our oceans. Furthermore, "The chemical structure of most plastics renders them resistant to many natural processes of degradation..." Wherever I go, plastic bottles containing drinking water abound; "For sale" in grocery stores, drug stores, big box stores, sports events, movie theatres, etc. My question to you: instead of buying bottles of water, why not buy a filtration system of your own and fill your own drinking containers? You'll save money in the long run, and cut down on plastic waste at the same time. My Brita filter sits on my kitchen counter. I change the filter every couple of months. It's simple and "green." By continuing to buy bottled water, we, the consumers, “demand" that the "suppliers" continue to produce the the 380 million tons of plastic produced annually. Supply and Demand at work. As Bugs Bunny used to say: "That's all, Folks"

I have used different products and styles of water purification; although filling a pitcher for water purification is slightly cumbersome, I've settled for this system. The bottom line is to transport water from the kitchen sink, from the faucet through the filter, and into the pitcher. My water here in Golden Valley is good, but my son has a more refined taste, and always drinks filtered water. Since the percentage of the body is water, might as well have adequate input. As you can infer, I have a lot of time on my hands. Thank you, Bill.
