[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have the pur faucet mount and the cost of the filters were nearly the same cost as the device itself! When I ended up switching to Brita I pay way less now and still have the same water quality. Although I am going to try the longlast filters next as I do want it to be filtering out lead as well I don't think the standard ones do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this filter and I have used it for my Brita pitcher for wow about four years. I like that using a filter saves money and keeps me from using individual plastic bottles. The only thing I don't like about this filter is that it leaves the little black specks floating around but I know that that is how the water is filtered. The specks don't make in past the area where you place the water before its filtered but it does cause me to give the filter a good not an excellent rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying filters for a while now and decided to write about them. However, I didn't know about the recycling of them until recently. I love the idea.....and earning points to do so?? BONUS!!! For me, one drawback with the filters is having to run (and waste) water over the filter for 10-15 seconds. I'd like to think there is a better, resource saving, method of doing so. But otherwise, I like them and will continue to buy and use them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Britta about 5 years ago. The one I have now is a few years old but I just changed the filters as needed. Is so awesome to not think of the Rings of plastic that I'm circling the world with with water bottles. And the water tastes delicious filtered perfectly I seriously love Britta. I've made everyone in my family get one years ago. And everyone does not do without it. Britta rocks instead of plastic Circle Rings the world and sucks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just figured out that the new advanced filters aren't working correctly with my older pitcher even though it advertises to work with all of them. The water filters about as quickly as I can fill the top portion with water. My family has been drinking unfiltered water for months now. This is a huge disappointment and waste of money. I'd not recommend to another.

I have a Brita pitcher that I keep in the fridge. The water from the pitcher is ok when it is cold but if you leave it out and the water becomes room temperature, it tastes as bad as the water that comes from the faucet. Makes me wonder if the filter system is doing what it claims to do.

With the help of the Brita pitcher, I know I have clean water. I replace the filter every month and not only does it keep my water clean, it helped my stomach get used to the new area water.
