Especially the congestion and cough. I was able to sleep better without waking up coughing. Easy to swallow pills they were not to big.

Sure enough, they did, and I'm snotty, achy, coughing, and miserable. I'm used to using other products, but I've never been entirely satisfied with them, and it's always a pain when you have to cross-check medications in a multi-med product to ensure that it's safe to use with whatever else you've taken. I thought that Mucinex 12 HR Cold & Fever Multi-Symptom was really unique in that it contained not acetaminophen, not ibuprofen, but Naproxen Sodium - a NSAID - that isn't always in your medicine cabinet. Especially as this is a 12-hour dose, you might want to take acetaminophen for breakthrough aching or fever. This allows you to do just that without worry. I will note that this product contains Dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant) and also Guaifenesin (an expectorant), which might sound counterintuitive - how can you use an expectorant if you're suppressing your cough? I personally find these helpful in combination because most of my coughing is eased, and that which isn't eased is far more productive. I found this product to be helpful for my symptoms, and I really liked that I was able to take acetaminophen during that 12-hour time if it was needed. Each pill packet contains two fairly large pills, but they were smooth and easy to swallow with no unpleasant taste. I would absolutely reach for this product in the future during illness.

Since the kiddos are now older, and no longer kiddos, we upgraded from the liquid to the pill format. They still work absolutely fast and get the job done, sooner than other brands! With the pill form, I get no real taste (I don't let them sit on my tounge though, either) Simple packaging, easy to pop out and use Due to the simple packaging I absolutely recommend STORE HIGH AND OUT OF REACH OF SMALL CHILDREN! Otherwise, amazing product! 👌

My nephew was playing his first home game of his senior year and I was feeling terrible. I remembered that I had these so I took them the day before the game and I was able to go because these cleared up my congestion and helped get rid of my headache. Love Mucinex. When you have that cough, but nothing comes up but you know it's down there. This is great to take because it breaks everything up so you're able to cough it up and feel much better.

It works fast to break down mucus and clear out anything that is causing the cough in addition to bringing relief to fever, muscle aches, and other cold symptoms.
