Chicken Thighs

The chicken thighs were good. I am not happy with the packaging. I prefer the chicken both thighs and breasts to be packed in large amounts to be cleaned and separated for personal preference.

Packaging sucks

This new packaging isn't convenient for a large family.I had to open so many packages just to get the amount I needed. I had to open one just to get 1 more. I prefer the large Styrofoam package where I can repackage the amount my family uses.

Perfectly mediocre

I'd have to agree with others. New packaging wasn't needed and the glue is very difficult to separate. And cuts are definitely a step down. Bone fragments, blood clots, tendons, etc. Should bring back the bulk pack. Quality was definitely better.

A lot of gristle and fat

I used to buy boneless chicken thighs all the time. Not a fan of the new packaging. I assume Sam's changed suppliers. Since the package change there is a lot of gristle and fat on the thighs. Fat left on the thighs adds to more weight and a higher price per package.

Disappointing

We have bought nearly all of our meat from Sam's for over 15 years. We have been very happy with the quality and value. However, since the packaging (and I presume processor) changed several months ago, it has been terrible. The pieces are cut into odd pieces. They are riddled with fat, skin, tendons, bones, and clots. I hope Sam's rectifies this quickly or I will need to find my meat elsewhere.

Used to be good, quality downhill

I have been buying these fir over a decade to feed my family but dince 2030, the qyality has gone down more and more. Today i have decided not to easte any more money on these. Buyers be aware: there is a good chance you will have to cut bones, cartilage, and skin off of some of these "boneless skinless chicken thighs." Ive had entire bone in, skin on thighs show up in these packs. You will need to feel each piece, removing the shards of bones left behind before you cook or you may choke. These are very fatty and i often find the blood veins still in them so there is s pretty intense cleanup before i can even begin to prep these for cooking. Lots of the tough leathery grsy film left behind, too. On top of all these quality control issues, the chicken tends to go bad before its best by date so plan to use quickly sfter purchasing. At first I thought it was my fridge but i do not have this problem with meat from any other store.

Chicken thighs in new packaging

I am very disappointed with the new boneless, skinless thighs. The packaging makes it impossible to see what your buying. The chicken is mostly torn up fatty pieces. Impossible to tell if you have a full thigh. I had to pick out many sharp little bones. Please bring back frozen boneless skinless thighs. At the very least, bring back the Styrofoam trays with clear plastic wrap so we can see what we are purchasing. I will not be buying any more chicken in these bags. Sorry Sam's Club, this was a bad move on your part.

Bad chicken choice!

This is the worst chicken I have ever purchased from a grocery store. The new packaging makes it impossible to see the meat inside, so you don't know if you have 2, 3, or 4 pieces in each pouch of the packaging. Plus, the size variations in each pouch are a joke, and the quality of the chicken is atrocious. The pieces are so mangled. Several times, I have taken a bite and ended up with several shards of bone in my mouth. The pieces sometimes look like the entire piece (including the bone), has been run through a shredder. Again, this is not a one-time event. I expected more from such a big corporation, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. Since we purchased it on our meat stock-up week, we have so much left in our freezer now because we don't trust it enough to eat it.
