[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the first time i have tried a ‘free and gentle’ dryer sheet as I was skeptical of how well they would really work. I was surprisingly impressed! And i even used them on the most uncomfortable clothes.. work clothes. My work scrubs, which are usually rough and scratchy, were soft and static free! And my husband’s work jeans were also came out softer and static free! I then used the Bounce sheets on my towel and sheets load and they have never been softer! Not to mention no worries about dyes and artificial scents! I am already recommending these free and gentle Bounce sheets to everyone!

This product is extremely misleading. It claims it is free of perfumes and dyes. However, there have been many reviews about the heavy perfume scent it actually has. I got 2 different boxes from 2 different stores, and both had the extreme perfume smell. Both have gone in the trash. I am extremely sensitive to scents, to the point where they make me nauseous, so for me when something says it’s perfume free, I expect that. My whole laundry room still has this scent, and so does the back of the house. And it took 2 days of my windows being rolled down in my car to get the scent out of my car, even though they were only in my car for 10 min. In other reviews Bounce says it can either be the natural scent of the product, or that if it is stored with other products that are heavily scented, the scent can be transferred over to these. Well, I brought them straight home from the store and opened them immediately to the extreme smell, so if that is the case, the scent of other fabric softeners it was stored with at the store went through the box and gave this fabric softener it’s heavy scent. If that’s the case, the stores need to be told to store this alone. But considering I’ve used this product before and didn’t have a problem until now, I feel like that’s not the case here. This is also not a natural scent. It smells like the other Bounce dryer sheets that are heavily scented. The smell is absolutely horrible. It’s absolutely disgusting. It doesn’t smell good at all. It is such a strong smell, it just lingers. Also Bounce stated in other reviews the scent shouldn’t be transferred to the clothes. It was and now all my clothes smell horrible. So, Bounce and P

Long time customer for last 15 years maybe! However, somewhere in Q4 of 2022 (Nov or Dec), the formula changed and the sheets have a powerful odor of chemicals/perfumes. NASTY!!!! Also, Bounce: don't respond to this review, just change you product back to the prior formula!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loyal to a particular brand for years. The brand that I have been using was chosen only because of its scent. When trying Bounce Free and Gentle, my expectations were low but I learned a couple of things. 1.) I do not need my dryer sheets to smell awesome because my detergent already does. Why waste time in the store sniffing detergent just to cover it up with a heavily scented dryer sheet?? 2.) The static cling that I have been dealing with for years is not normal or necessary. Bounce Free and Gentle takes away all static and leaves my laundry feeling crazy soft and clean! I am very happy with this product and can say that I am now and forevermore brand loyal to Bounce Free and Gentle.

I am extremely sensitive to scents and perfumes. I have purchased many supposedly scent-free dryer sheets that had a detectable scent. I was so grateful to Bounce for producing truly odor-free dryer sheets. Imagine my shock to recently purchase a box of Bounce "Free and Gentle" sheets only to find that it has a distinct perfume. You can smell it on the box before even opening it, smell it on the sheets, and in the clothing after it comes out of the dryer. Your product description clearly states "without perfumes or dyes". What gives? I am not the only reviewer who has remarked on this. Please don't tell me "it must have picked up the scent from a nearby product" or "the sheets have a natural scent" because your previous sheets were indeed SCENT-FREE!

This used to be the best fabric softener, but not anymore since P&G changed them to scented, even though the package still says "free of dyes and perfumes." I haven't even opened the box, but I can tell this is NOT true just by smelling it. Yes, P&G -- there are consumers who prefer no perfume in their softener and I will be returning it.

Previous version was truly nearly scent-free, but whatever changes they've made in the last year or so give the sheets a very chemical smell. It's very strong - can smell them in an unopened box from across the room. Hopefully they'll listen to the feedback from their customers and return to the past version.

I've used this product for years and was very happy with it while it remained "free of dyes and perfumes" as stated on the packaging. Unfortunately, it now has a truly terrible and overwhelming scent- like cherry car freshener (and still states it is free of perfumes). Well, I can smell it in the next room. Since I am very sensitive to scents I will no longer be buying this and will have to shop another brand, after I re-wash all my clothes.

I never buy dryer sheets but had Interview for a job clothes that needed to be washed and wanted them to smell as amazing as possible and these sheets not only made my clothes soft but they made them smell fresh and clean!!! I am buying them again and forever on!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a unique products. I use unscented detergent, so I was excited to try this. I have never tried unscented dryer sheets before so didn't know what to expect. I usually don't use dryer sheets because I don't like the scent of most dryer sheets and my partner has extremely sensitive skin. I have used dryer sheets from natural brands in the past and have felt indifferent about them. I tried the dryer sheets on several different loads of laundry, and didn't really notice a difference. I really appreciate that Bounce is making a product that is hypoallergenic and dermatologist approved. I still have an issue with some of the ingredients used (like sulfate), because some of them are irritating to people with extremely sensitive skin like my partner.
