When you are measuring your space to see if it will fit, keep in mind the vent, gas, and water hoses in the back. The washer holds a big load of clothes, which is a nice feature. The spin cycle really takes a lot of the water out of the clothes. The drier dries the clothes quickly. Maybe because the spin cycle works so well? The one feature I would like to see is the machine would keep the settings you adjusted the cycle to. It constantly adjusts to the default setting. My old machine kept your adjustments. Another thing would nice is if you could change the signal done music.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had a washing machine with an agitator and I have always had problems with my laundry (particularly sheets) being tangled and twisted causing deep wrinkles - this does not happen with this machine at all! My laundry comes out completely wrinkle free! Sheets even! Very happy with this machine plus it has a lovely tone to tell you both when the wash load has finished and when the dryer has finished - not that incredibly annoying harsh beeping sound from my last machine! Sounds like a silly little thing but it makes a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG Washer/Dryer (a single unit) freed up a lot of storage space in my laundry closet, having the dryer on top of the dryer is brilliant. It is relatively quiet and cleans very well. I enjoy the little tune the washer and dryer play when their cycles are over. Being as it is one unit; the dryer sets itself to the settings deemed by how you set the washer. Very handy, I have only had to change the setting slightly by bumping up the dryness setting on humid days. Again, this launders very well. But being as this is a high efficiency washer, only use HE friendly detergent and do not fill past the line on the built in (and very handy) measuring cup in the soap tray. Otherwise, soap will linger in your laundry. The sleek design makes this an attractive machine, the control panel is the black stripe, the settings light up when you turn on the machine. Even though this is space saving, the washer and dryer are full sized. I like this unit very much!!

Hi After a month of waiting to complete installation, I now enjoy this brand new appliances. The only thing that I’m a bit concerned is that when I wash my laundered, the washer makes a loud squeak noise while washing. I wish that this noise will reduce it but I’m not going to apply WD 40 for the belt. How can I reduce the noise I wonder.

About four years ago it started failing, so I had been looking for a unit like this every since. All the single units I saw were not what I was looking for. In most cases the washer and dryer insides where small and I did not want to lean into the washer to get my clothes. I wanted a large washer and dryer unit and it fits the bill. It is a perfect replacement, looks good in my laundry room, and it is easy to operate. I also like the fact that when something is wrong, it gives you a code. Example my dryer would not work, so it gave me a code. I checked and the code stated my dryer vent was clog. So I had it taken care of and the dryer works perfectly. I've also been told by several people who work in various service positions, that LG products are top of the line. Love it!!!

However, when I received this and used it for the first week I was so impressed and happy that I got this. Super easy to install and even easier to use. I was overwhelmed at first look because it had so many choices that my other washer and dryer did not have. Yet again I was surprised at how easy it was to use. it is very cost efficient and uses less water then other washers. it has very pleasant alarms that dont make you jump out of your skin when they go off. I love that it has an option for a single small small load like just a couple items and only takes 15 mins to wash and about 10 to dry. yes its that good. a normal load is super fast to wash and the dryer is so great it drys super fast. very quiet i do not hear it spin ever it dont get unbalanced like many others. this is a top quality appliance and I would highly highly suggest going with this option. Also it takes up half the space. what more can you ask for. as far as prices go its priced well within most peoples budgets. I only had one small thing I was bothered by and that was the new smell of the washer. it did go away after the first free washes. Not really a bad thing at all just like a new car smell it has a new washer smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how much less space it takes up but does everything a W&D should do, and very quietly also. We would buy this tower again in a minute and we love the darker color too. There is nothing not to like about this tower.

I purchased this washer dryer unit a month ago and I am so pleased with it. The unit is more compact that traditional stackable units so it takes up less space. I’m also pretty short so have all controls in the middle of the unit is a great help to me. Love this machine!
