I purchased this deep freezer at the beginning on May. I had my mom to stay at my home to receive the delivery. The company that delivered the freezer told my mom they could only leave the freezer in the front room they cant carry it anywhere else. I finally got someone that could move the freezer to where I wanted it. Opened the box to move it and the freezer was damaged. Sams is going to replace it. I hope the next freezer is not damaged. Ill be home for the next delivery myself.

This is complete garbage! The freezer is not even 2 years old and it quit working. Over $1,000 in beef had to be thrown in the trash. BUYER BEWARE! This is a throw away product and after trying to call the manufacturer they simply safe it only has a one-year warranty, there is nothing they can do. SHAME ON THEM AND SHAME ON SAM'S CLUB FOR SELLING CRAP PRODUCTS. I have notified Sam's Clubs Corporate Offices and plan on ensuring that they stop carrying such junk. No product lasts forever, BUT 2 years for a freezer is ridiculous!

I bought this yesterday and brought it home and plugged it in. Ran for a few minutes, then stopped. Looked at the manual, and lo and behold! It says wait 24 hours before turning it on if it has been on its side for any length of time. I'm sure I'm not the only person whose first operation is to plug the thing in, instead of reading the manual. The freezer got hot and shut off. I'm now waiting the 24 hours with the device off to see if it still works. May be money down the drain. Advice to manufacturer: Put a warning on the lid that says "Wait 24 hours if freezer has been tilted" !!

It took us 3 weeks to get this freezer and that was only because I called the company (Pilot Pro) that was supposed to deliver it to ask where it was. As if that wasn't enough it came with a large dent in the front at the bottom and we had to return it to the store to exchange. I would recommend the product but not for delivery. You are better off going to the club to get it yourself.

Do not buy any appliance made by this company!! If could give negative stars I would. We bought the 7 cubic foot chest freezer and it literally died less than a month after owning it. We purchased it specifically to hold our frozen meats in the week it took for our stand up freezer to be loaded onto a truck and moved to our new house. It ruined $700+ worth of beef, chicken, pork and seafood. We checked it wasn't the outlet, the breaker wasn't tripped, the freezer just died. For over a month we've been jumping through hoops to get everything done right and through the right channels and we get told they have an exclusion when a freezer or appliance is purchased that they are not nor will they ever be responsible for the contents. EVEN if it's their appliance that dies! I've been told to go through our renters insurance and surprise take a further financial hit because we all know that's never a free thing. They do not quality check their appliances and know that they are low quality and don't care. Do not expect any accountability beyond getting a refund for the piece of garbage you bought. Never ever again will I ever purchase anything made by this deplorable company. Save yourself the trouble and buy from any other company!

I bought this freezer at Sams June 12, 2020, so excited to have found one during this pandemic because we needed more room for meats and such. It stopped working August 7th about 7 weeks later. most of my meats had already thawed. I called Sams, they said they have a 30 day warranty and since I did not buy the extended warranty that they had offered well then they cant do anything about it. The compressor still kicks on like its working but It does not freeze. Do not buy this product and if you do you better get the extended warranty that they offer, your going to need it. Very disappointed with this freezer and that Sams has not pulled it because of all the bad reviews. A waste of Money!

Came damaged

First off, they say it is energy efficient. That does not make it energy star compliant. It is not. Huge difference. Second, the seal is not the greatest. From day 1 frost was forming on the inside. It can form of course but not this quickly. Yes, it depends on the frequency of open close but to form so quickly, the seals are leaking and not totally sealed. Third, it is loud considering its size. I had a 22cu ft and you could barely hear it run. Fourth and back to my first and second point, it runs frequently. If the seals were good and insulation was correct, it would not need to cycle this much. And finally, it is twisted. (probably contributing to the bad seal) the freezer box itself has a twist to it. Adding food (weight) helps but this should be a square box with no twist. I had to level with shims. It may normalize after time but not impressed with the quality of the build. Yes, it works (for now) and holds right around 0 at setting 3 but.....I have had better.

Our old 7.0 cubic feet freezer died. We bought this online, but it was 4 inches shorter than the online description and our old freezer. The 7.0 cubic feet sizing would be correct, but it doesn't account for the compressor compartment. Actual size is 6.33 cubic feet. Shrinkflation!
