DO NOT BUY! HORRIBLE PRODUCT

Stopped working about 1 MONTH after purchase. Got down to over 50°, so definitely not freezing, let alone getting cold. Had to contact manufacturer for refund/exchange because still under warranty. Endless emails back and forth because they have a very specific process. And their response time is worse. Going on 3 months still waiting for refund. Will DEFINITELY NEVER purchase another product from this company ever.

Seems Okay, But I Wish It Had More Baskets

It's very quiet and it gets cold, which is about all I can say about it considering that I just bought it two days ago. If it keeps getting cold, then I'll be happy. I took the extended warranty from Sam's just in case it doesn't keep getting cold. One thing I wish it had and that would have pushed it up to five stars would be more than the one storage basket. I can buy mil crates to keep things sorted, but it would have been nice if it came with more than the one.

Quit after a few months

I bought this in March 2022, and it quit working once, costing me $600 in food, but I was able to rest it and it started working again. It was working fine last night, then turned off again this morning and ruined food again, this time, over $1000 of food. The warranty is ridiculously worth nothing, as the consumer has to pay the cost of shipping the defective unit to them, and THEN they'll decide if they want to replace it or not. Should have taken it back to Sam's the first time. This is not worth your money unless you're okay with having food ruined.

Excellent Freezer But Cosmetically Damaged

This freezer works great! Tons of room on the inside but surprisingly not an overly large, bulky unit. My only issue is when we got it home and unpacked it, there was damage to it. It had been dented on the side however none of the local clubs had any left so we could exchange it.

manufacturer is sketchy

Brought this deep freezer at Sams 3 weeks ago and got the warranty, after 3 weeks notice that the deep freezer only got cold half way from middle to bottom anything above the middle line was defrosted, called warranty company and they informed me that freezer was still under manufactures warranty and it took me a week to finally get them thru to Thompson and another week of emails to get a response they wanted pictures and video which I sent and now, they want me to film me beating up the deep freezer with a bat and cut off the power cord and ripe off all model and label and cut them up, and then after they review the video they will decide if they are going to give me a refund and what type of refund they might give me ( they are not very clear about refund or credit) never mind I have half of a deep freezer full of meat and nowhere to put it and I would have pay to get ride of this deep freezer because if I beat it with a bat, I cannot put it on the curve on trash day because I will get a fine, so now I'm left giving food away to empty this deep freezer and try and get a refund.

Wish they'd warned about not tilting

I bought this yesterday and brought it home and plugged it in. Ran for a few minutes, then stopped. Looked at the manual, and lo and behold! It says wait 24 hours before turning it on if it has been on its side for any length of time. I'm sure I'm not the only person whose first operation is to plug the thing in, instead of reading the manual. The freezer got hot and shut off. I'm now waiting the 24 hours with the device off to see if it still works. May be money down the drain. Advice to manufacturer: Put a warning on the lid that says "Wait 24 hours if freezer has been tilted" !!

it's ok

First off, they say it is energy efficient. That does not make it energy star compliant. It is not. Huge difference. Second, the seal is not the greatest. From day 1 frost was forming on the inside. It can form of course but not this quickly. Yes, it depends on the frequency of open close but to form so quickly, the seals are leaking and not totally sealed. Third, it is loud considering its size. I had a 22cu ft and you could barely hear it run. Fourth and back to my first and second point, it runs frequently. If the seals were good and insulation was correct, it would not need to cycle this much. And finally, it is twisted. (probably contributing to the bad seal) the freezer box itself has a twist to it. Adding food (weight) helps but this should be a square box with no twist. I had to level with shims. It may normalize after time but not impressed with the quality of the build. Yes, it works (for now) and holds right around 0 at setting 3 but.....I have had better.
