The Love Beauty and Planet Sulfate-Free Argan Oil and Lavender Shampoo, is a great product. It made my hair smooth, and there wasn't any frizzy, flyaways. It was also very manageable. However, I don't think it actually smells like Lavender. The scent is light, and pleasant, though. I will continue to use it. I do like, the way it makes my hair feel. I love, that there isn't any sulfates, silicone, and parabens in this shampoo. I would definitely recommend this shampoo, because it does work well, for frizzy hair and added smoothness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say that I love the smell! It is subtle, but still there. I love that the packaging label helps to make the philosophy behind the company more apparent, and that the origins & benefits of the ingredients are clearly labeled. The shampoo itself gets to a nice lather, and does a wonderful job of cleaning my hair. There were a few things though that makes this products seem more like a "green washed" product rather than actually being environmentally friendly. The first thing is that although many of the products are environmentally friendly, there are some that are not good for your hair and are just cheap ingredients. An example of this would be the alcohol in it. Second the label marks the shampoo as made with organic materials, which some of it is... but also some of it isn't after reading the finer print. My last thing that was disappointing was that it came in a plastic bottle. Plastic is TERRIBLE for the environment. So the philosophy is great, the foundation is there, but I just wish you went all the way by using glass containers and slightly better ingredients.

I used this product 3 times in a week to test it out and absolutely loved it at night. The lavender and argan oil was so calming for sleeping and relaxing. This shampoo makes my flyaways disappear until my next hair wash day. Definitely makes my hair incredibly smooth but not heavy and weighing my hair down at all. I will definitely repurchase this product!
