We have 6 kids and buy meat in bulk sizes to save money. Being able to choose the size of the bag is handy, it allows me to freeze the right amount for our various dinner configurations (all the kids, half the kids, and dinners with Grandpa). The vacuum sealer eliminates virtually all freezer burn if make sure the bag actually seals. I usually double seal about an inch apart to make sure it’s sealed. It works great for both raw and cooked meats. One added bonus that we’ve found that we didn’t think about before is that the adults are not eating 2 or 3 days of leftovers anymore because the bags are portioned for meals.

The FooSaver machine is the best way to keep your food fresh. I am a fisherman as a sport and i catch a lot of fish. If I use the FoodSaver after a productive fishing trip the filets taste as fresh as the day i caught them, even a month after i put them in the freezer. I resupply the rools often because I use the machine for anything i am going to store for an extended period of time.

Since many of the meats sold at Sam's Club aren't vacuum-packed, using a food saver is necessary to keep the meat fresh in the freezer. The bags work as designed and come in several different sizes to meet your needs.

No substitutes for this product. Preserves ammo, stored flower seeds, and of course, food. I tested the ability to retain meat and I just cooked several chicken breasts packaged 4 years ago. Just as good as new bought. I have a 15 cf freezer full of meat that will be fresh when I harvest it.

I ordered these on line. There were 4 of the big 11" rolls and 2 of the 8" rolls & premade bags included. These would have cost around 60.00 if I bought them where is usually do (discounted) but I got them here for 39.00. Great bargain. I have tried the other vacuum seal bags and they do not come close to the FoodSaver brand. This "FoodSaver Roll Combo Pack" is a great buys from Sam's Club.

We Love our Food Saver for all fresh garden and meat needs as well. Helps on space and freshness of the food. Our Food Saver is old! These Food Saver Roll Combo Pack is perfect in that we can cut the size we need plus the extra large sizes too. We actually use for other things as well that we need to compact for our Fridge!

I love the foodsaver all around. It has saved the food especially when it gets shoved back in the back/bottom of the freezer and not found for a couple of years. We have ate 2 years old ground beef that I found hidden in the freezer and it tasted like it was in there for 2 weeks. I highly recommend it. We use it for camping it helps keep all the food safe and secured so nothing leaks into other food items in the cooler.

The bags that DO NOT have zippers are fantastic for freezing! I only use the zip bags for the fridge as the vacuum disc can fall off once the bag freezes for a a few days. TIP: Only use as I just said and you will be fine and it is a good purchase. Do not freeze food in the zipper bags
