After the steep rise in prices on pure vanilla I bought vanilla sticks and let them soak in vodka for a month but I’m back to purchasing the ready to use pure vanilla from Sam’s club since I find the price to be similar to the stuff I had to make in my own.

Only use real vanilla extract when baking so I found this to be a good value when I compared prices a couple years back including brand names & generic store brands. It is a splurge, but then it lasts me for most of the year. I try to buy when Sam's discounts product by a few dollars.

I bake all the time and I am a big fan of name brand products when it comes to baking, especially cakes! I love McCormick brand extract and this large container is perfect for my extensive baking needs. The price is great and much cheaper than constantly buying the separate 1 to 2 ounce bottles, if you bake all the time like me!

name brand cheaper that any place else, can't beat it....... Cookies are better for it

You don't get much for your money. They have reduced it down to an 8oz bottle, about half the size of the previous bottle for a higher price.

Returning this. Knew it was very expensive but did not know it was one half the size of my previous bottle.

Tasted and smelled like straight alcohol and ruined a batch of cupcakes I made for my mom's birthday.
