Born & raised in the South, I come from a long line of great home cooks. I used to watch my mom, grandma & aunts prepare all kinds of luscious desserts & they ALWAYS used McCormick Pure Vanilla. U can definitely tell the difference between pure & imitation. Pay the extra money & buy this because u really do get what u pay for. Happy baking!

Absolutely the best flavor for baked goods. Pure vanilla extract, of course, is much better than the imitation although you may get more per bottle of the imitation. Pure is more expensive but it's well worth the price.

I make ice cream in the Ninja And I have tried several (even made my own ) and McCormick delivers the great vanilla flavor . I also use Watkins and Magnolia Star but McCormick passes the test with flying taste .

I have been to several grocers who were out of large bottles of vanilla. Sams always has it in stock.

I do a LOT of COOKING which requires Pure Vanilla flavor, McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract has been around forever and stay true to its taste.

It's a bit pricey but it's the best vanilla at this price point.

It's pure vanilla flavoring, make sure you read the labels on these kind of products, they are sometimes misleading.

Although sealed, the item appears to have been leaking. Evident by stains on the top. Too expensive to have any lost.

I'm VERY disappointed with the shipping of this item. When it was received, it had leaked out because the seal was broken and the flip cap was open. I don't know if the bottle was intentionally compromised or it was poor quality control. I've always had items shipped from Sam's Club and have never had this problem before. Do better, Sam's Club and McCormick.

Be careful ordering this. Walmart charges $11.98 for an 8 oz bottle and $11.98 for a 4 oz bottle. Somehow, the 8 oz bottle is seldom in stock but they have a convenient substitution. That's right, they'll sell you half the product at the same price as the large bottle. Sounds like theft to me.
