I am a cake baker and tried many other flavorings. I like this brand the best. My cakes and icings always taste the best. Can't go wrong with this brand.

The last time I bought this, I got twice as much for a much lesser price. This is not dark and potent like it used to be, it is light colored, has almost no vanilla flavor and tastes like very bitter alcohol. Poor quality, will not purchase again.

I only use pure vanilla extract. It has the best flavor and aroma without additives. Vanilla adds so much to the depth of flavor of all your baked recipes.

This product is way watered down. It is not like the original. It smells like alcohol now. I have switched to a different brand because of it. I have used this product for 40 years. So sad they couldn't just keep it truly Pure.

I've found this to be very expensive in other stores in the past couple of years. I was very glad to find it at Sam's Club for a much better price. I do a lot of baking and love the vanilla flavor McCormick pure vanilla extract brings.

After the steep rise in prices on pure vanilla I bought vanilla sticks and let them soak in vodka for a month but I’m back to purchasing the ready to use pure vanilla from Sam’s club since I find the price to be similar to the stuff I had to make in my own.

Only use real vanilla extract when baking so I found this to be a good value when I compared prices a couple years back including brand names & generic store brands. It is a splurge, but then it lasts me for most of the year. I try to buy when Sam's discounts product by a few dollars.

If you can afford it it is the best vanilla extract made. I am limited to only one bottle each year since the price has More than DOUBLED. I have to decide if I want homemade ice cream in the Summer or holiday treats in the Winter. I can't afford both. What used to be affordable just 3 years ago has more than doubled in price. Ridiculous.
