[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the process of moving and I have been using the scotch tape . It is very effective for securely wrapping boxes . I would definitely recommend it as a top choice for packing tape . The dispenser makes it very quick and efficient as well .

I bought this item because I use it for many different things. Heavy duty is a joke. I can barely get it to stick to the cardboard boxes that I'm boxing up donations in. I've used Scotch packing tape for years with no complaints. Not sure if this revamped or if it's not the original packing tape that I've used for years, but I wasted my money. I have been looking for the 6-pack of packing tape for a while now. This is the first I've found lately and I figured they just changed the name to "shipping" from "packing". So disappointed.

Its the toughness of the adhesive that make me feel confident this tape does it's job.When you are waiting for a piece of home ,you wan to make sure it arrives.I would not use anything else,today I'm running out to buy more for another pkg for my son for the holidays.So,take my advice from a single parent military mom who counts her pennies.It is worth it,it is never a lot to buy and i use it for those precious packages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great for sealing up boxes. It is strong and seals really well. The fall back tabs on the dispenser really keep the tape from sealing back on itself, unlike other brands of tape I have used before. When I started the roll, the tape split into smaller strips, but there was a strip across the width of the tape, near the beginning of the roll, that helped you pull up the whole width of the tape. So no getting pieces of tape that are only a centimeter of two in width, or wasting your tape trying to get the full width. That is an excellent feature! The only drawback is that the tape doesn't roll off very easily, and I had to turn the roll on the dispenser with my other hand. In other words, I had to manually unspool the tape before putting it on the package, instead of just pulling the tape out across the package. But other than that, this tape is the best I have ever used. I would give it 4 1/2 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is strong and so easy to use. I send gifts to my sister and her daughters in California often and this has made the packing so easy. It glides on with the holder and cuts so easy. Found I did not have to use a much as I previously did with the tape I had. It also is very clear so I could cover the mailing label as well. Easy to store with my other packing supplys.

I am soooooo upset with this tape! I've been buying it for years and lately it is horrible! It simply won't stick to the boxes. Easily comes off. Doesn't keep it closed unless you use a ton of it! Hate it! Will never buy it again! I'd rate it zero but it doesn't let me.,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. This is a very handy for making storage boxes hold together. It was always a struggle to keep the boxes of books or heavy sporting goods in good shape for storage when the bottom of most boxes fell apart when picking them up. But this dispenser and Heavy Duty tape keeps all my boxes sturdy for packing away and carting to storage in the garage. Always handy to have around for the tough jobs.

Scotch Heavy Duty does the job in one strip! I am impressed with the gauge thickness and hold, very good job Scotch.

I had a little difficulty figuring out how to work the dispenser but after I learned the device was very easy to use. The tape itself is very sturdy and sticky. Some of the boxes that I sealed were a little damp from the rain and the tape held excellently. I will definitely buy this product as it met all of the criteria I look for when planning to seal and send packages.

It fits easily in my hand and is very easy to maneuver. It’s a simple design with convenient raised ridges on the sides for better grip. The tape rolls and dispenses easily and smoothly and tears easily with the metal guide. The small blades are not sharp to the touch but are effective at tearing the tape. I’m very satisfied with the simple, yet effective design.
