Hello, we have been using this scotch heavy duty shipping tape for many years and we are very satisfied with it. We just have one concern that will make us still using it or not: is it made out of recycle plastic? how is 3m positioning its brand regarding the environment?

I've had a problem in the past with cheap brands which are hard to peel from the roll, so I only use Scotch now. But now I have many rolls that are unusable because I cannot peel the edge of the tape from the roll after first use, or if I use a knife and manage to peel some off, it splits into tiny strips. Very frustrating! I came here looking for tips and found many other users with the same problem, and each time Scotch just responds to call them. I work at night, after hours.

The built in dispenser and cutter worked good. The cutting edge has many little teeth that allows for easy clean tears from the roll. This tape is great. I have never had any issue with 3M shipping or packing tape holding up to the rigors of shipping or moving. Having moved 10+ times in 17 years I understand the value in a high quality pack tape. Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape is the best. Even if it is a little more expensive than other tapes on the market the cost is easily justifiable.

I frequently send packages to Germany, as my granddaughters live here. I always use Scotch Heavy Duty Packing Tape for my packages. I trust it to keep my boxes sealed tight, even when they get sent to Canada by mistake ( by the post office) and look like they were dropped about a hundred times! It’s easy to use and holds tight. I won’t use anything else!
