Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!

Doesn't get too caught up on the tape cutter piece and seems to do a good job sealing boxes without lifting around the corners. I did not receive any negative feedback on the couple of packages I sent in terms of poor packaging or things came undone. Only wish this was a bit bigger to handle more tape.

The applicator makes it easy to apply it exactly where I want It and then easily cut it at the end. I found that the tape is extremely strong, and I like that once I put in place, it stays stuck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate, and this stuff is really strong it held without problem on several boxes of books, and holds well to the cardboard. I even used it to temporarily fix a broken cell phone screen. The only problem with this tape is getting the tape off the roll, it tends to tear off in a thin strip rather than across the entire face of the roll. I had several other people try it to rule my method or arthritis as the cause of the problem, and all had the same issue. Once i got the roll started the dispenser/cutter worked flawlessly and cut well. After cutting a strip I would fold over the last 1/4 inch of tape on itself to make a flap I could use to avoid the issue with starting the tape. I would love to see 3M/Scotch add a similar mechanism for the new roll, a simple fold or piece of cardboard could make this tape much easier to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Scotch brand packaging tape dispenser and tape for years and I love it. It is easy to use, you can do it one handed, and once they are taped they don't come open until you cut them open. I have used the tape to repair things like a broken center pole on my Christmas tree, that was several years ago and it is still holding. I also ship on Ebay and use this tape to close the boxes and tape on the labels. I tape over the address section of the labels so they do not smear if they get wet plus it closes those boxes tightly and they do not come open during mailing. In a pinch, I have also cut small strips and used it to tape wrapping paper on Christmas presents. I can use the dispenser one handed leaving my other hand free to hold the package or item being taped in place. I would recommend this tape and dispenser to anyone requiring the use of a packaging tape.

I can wrap packages without the tape wrinkling or bunching. I can use less of this tape than other brands because it is strong enough to do the job with just one pass. It is reliable!

The dispenser is easy to use and keeps the tape flat and straight while using it to seal boxes. I strongly recommend to tape and dispenser. They are both easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty lived up to its name. Had to tape up multiple boxes and was was able to easily secure with no bumps or seem lifting. Other products get bumpy as they are going on or the seems lift which makes you question the hold. Not this product, boxes got knocked around the the tape held up.
