Good tape, works as expected, no issues. Walmart could improve the product description to speed up my purchase - too many versions of the product slow down the purchase. Shipping tape, packing tape, heavy duty tape, ... Holy cow. I just want to seal up some boxes to ship. Which is the right product?

I just wanted to order the scotch tape without the dispenser; not worth returning. Also, did not want the tape dispenser with the big roll....I have a dispenser and didn't need the extra...not worth returning; too much of a hassle and I don't drive right now.

I pack a lot of catalogs for people who expect their books to arrive safely. Wrapping the envelopes with shipping tape protects them from being delivered in a puddle. I have been wrapping like this for 6 years and have only had one complaint, that it was too hard to open the package, but even that person thanked me for packing so securely.

Tape isn't as clear as it should be, it is cracked or bubbled. It still sticks fine but looks odd. I expected more from a name brand tape. I would have added a picture but I'm working from home today and the tape is at the office. I might take it back the next time I am able to go in store.

The heavy-duty tape is thick and sturdy when dispensed, and especially sticky. The shipping tape dispenser is very easy to use but the serrated edge that cuts the tape is very sharp so be careful.For the purchase price and what you get, it's a great deal than buying it from your typical stores.

This is a repeat purchase because I really love the product. The size is convenient, and having multiples allows me to keep one in the utility room, another in the garage, and a third in the attic where I store my gift wrap, etc. When I take the last one out of the package, I buy another six-pack.

I bought these several times, I truly like the quality of this tape, however what I didn't know was there are refills that can be bought instead of throwing away the red casings. This alone would save. Otherwise it's a great product, I'm just a novice when it comes to these types of things and didn't know.

Scotch heavy Duty Packaging tape is the only tape Id buy for packages. The tape is easy to role on to seal boxes without a dispenser needed and they keep the pack sealed and shut for the entire trip. Two layers is usually good enough to get a tight seal around the package. I would not recommend using this tape to hang things on the wall as it might peel off you paint. I do use it for gift wrapping if I am out of normal tape. I use scissors to cut out the tape pieces. And you dont need as much as a small strip goes a Long way with these. ThIs also works well for crafts where glue just wont The four tape packages guarantees a long time use as well without having to go to the store soon. work as well. My daughter and I have used it on some craft situations. Overall, Scott heavy duty is the best tape we use For a variety of applications.

If you are looking for a really light weight tape for just dust protection in lightweight boxes, thisis not your tape. However, if you are looking for heavy sticking power f9r boxes you will be putting heavy things in for a long distance moving or long term storage, this is the tape you will want to buy. I have been packing boxes for 45 years and this is my go to tape when I need better strength and endurance.

I always buy my "packing" tape from Sams. I use it for so many things in addition to wrapping boxes. I type up labels for storage bins and tape them on with this type tape and it never looses it's sticky backing. PLUS ...on a plastic bin, I can easily remove it.
