She who sews must occasionally rip. Scotch Packaging tape is the pickier-upper for all the little loose threads on my fabric. I also use it to pick up cat hair on my furniture before company comes, to de-lint my husband's jacket when he leaves for work and to pick up what I can't see on the mat in front of my kitchen sink. I'm so fond of its many uses that I buy several rolls at a time.

THIS TAPE IS ALSO GREAT FOR GETTING YOUR HOUSE READY FOR WINTER! IT'S GREAT TO SECURE PLASTIC ON WINDOWS; AND ITS GREAT TO GO AROUND DOORS THAT AREN'T USED IN THE WINTER TO KEEP OUT THE COLD AIR THAT CREEPS IN. I ALSO USE THIS TAPE WHEN STORING COMFORTERS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS; I NEATLY ROLL THE COMFORTERS AND THEN GO AROUND THEM ONCE WITH THE TAPE; I THEN STORE THEM NEATLY IN THE CLOSET. THE TAPE KEEPS THEM NEAT AND IN ORDER; IT MAKES STORING THEM A BREEZE! THIS TAPE IS THE JACK OF ALL TRADES AT MY HOUSE AND I LOVE IT! THANKS, BELINDA.

I have never had any damage to anything I have shipped. I also use the tape for storage boxes and it lasts so long and doesn't dry out like some tape. I have even used it to close plastic bags sent to me from catalog companies when I return items. Nothing has ever gotten lost and items have always arrived in excellent condition. Just can't get better packaging tape than SCOTT!

Purchased multiple rolls (20-25) of both regular duty packaging tape as well as "heavy duty" shipping/packaging tape. Tape does not stick to boxes at all, so you end up having to go completely around each box to allow the tape to stick to itself. Even comes loose from bubble wrap. If you want to use twice as much tape as should be needed, buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is great, but do not like dispenser, so I can't give it 5 stars! The tape is strong & holds very well. I just wish the dispenser was easier to use. I can't get tape to follow notches or stay in place between uses. I just don't have the knack for using these dispensers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I use a flea comb on my cat, I first tear off a small piece of scotch packaging tape and hold it above the comb as I comb thru her fur so when the fleas jump they go into the tape. I also use the tape to remove any fur or fleas off the comb. Sometimes if they jump on me I tear off a large amount of tape and keep applying it on my clothes on and off until I catch them on the tape. I know this sounds crazy but it works wonderfully. You just have to be careful not to get it stuck on the cat's fur. Also works good on picking them off of surfaces too. Thank you for your product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having worked in the moving industry during college, I have a LOT of experience with packing tape and have taped tens of thousands of boxes. This tape is tough...it's thick and strong, and will stretch without breaking easily. It's also very sticky...not likely to come unglued. And last but not least, the roll is 50 meters long, so you won't be looking for a new roll after every few boxes. It also came with a dispenser, which makes it more convenient to dispense the tape. My only questions are: Will it perform as well in freezing temperatures? Will it dry out and lose its grip on boxes that are stored for years? Too soon to tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given it 5 stars, but it was hard to get the roll started. They do the smaller scotch tape with a colored non sticky tab to lift and start...why not this? Aside from that, the dispenser portion is solid and works well, the tape is sticky and stays stuck to boxes and envelopes well, and it doesn't seem like it will tear or come loose when shipping. Once I got it started it was easy to dispense onto the box and it's wide enough to cover a seam with a single strip. I received a free sample of this product to review

This tape actually sticks to a box. So many other brands you can peel right off.

Tape does not stick well.
