This is a necessary component in making the cheesy potatoes and ham dish my granny always made me as a small child. Out of almost all things I could possibly make that dish is one of my all time favorite dishes that brings back all the comfort I felt as a small child glued to my granny. She would use a crockpot, peel and dice up potatoes and one onion, dice up one roasted ham, pour in two cans of cream of mushroom soup, and dice up one full velveta cheese block. And she would let it slow cook down all day in the crockpot.

Campbell's cream of mushroom family size is my go to brand when using in my recipes for cooking. A must for when I cook green bean casserole and chicken and rice. I grew up eating condensed soups as a weekend lunch with grilled cheese or just toast. Now I use them to make quick meals. Season some chicken breast and cook. Add a can of cream of mushroom soup and some milk and serve over rice. Quick and easy and delicious. Condensed soups are perfect additions to meals.

Although I'm sure it tastes really good as a soup, I don't believe I've ever actually had it as one. This is so versatile a product, I use several cans a week! I love cream of mushrooms over already fried pork chops and then broiled in the oven. The outcome is delicious. This product is good just the way it is. I always have multiple cans on hand and ready when I make pork chops. Everyone should try out cream of mushrooms over friend pork chops.

The creme de la creme of comfort food staples. There is simply no substitute for a good ole can of Campbell's cream of mushroom when making a casserole! A lot of recipes will try to replace this ingredient with heavy cream, but this is one of the few processed foods I won't give up because of how great it makes everything you add it to!
