I love Swanson Broth and have purchased it before. I decided to try out an urban legend using it to cook mashed potatoes. Supposedly, it will give you the creamiest mash potatoes you have ever tasted. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it did! They cooked perfectly in Swanson Broth and taste amazing! I will be making this again. You should try too!

I have used Swansons beef broth before on occasion but really don’t buy the brand in general. I do think that I am going to be buying it much more now! It is well worth the price. I really think it has a much smoother feel and taste than other broths and I was very happy that it was not salty. Some past broths I have tried have had a lot if salt or that sodium filled salt taste but this one did not. I used it to make a Chicken Tortilla Soup and my family absolutely loved it! This broth did not taste watered down and had a great chicken flavor that was natural and not over powering! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this Swanson chicken stock recently and I was able to use it is in our dinner dish the Swanson chicken broth made I dish a lot better thickened it with a little butter to make a sauce. yes I would buy it again I would also tell our friends and families about it.

Often times we do have homemade on hand and this was a great stock for when we don’t. Nice flavor. I do think next time we would get a low sodium just because we keep an eye on our salt intake.

Other than a homemade or refrigerated product this is the freshest taste I have found and lends just enough flavor without coming through too strong in the dish.
