I use a lot of chicken broth but not as much as what is in a carton. Once you open the carton you have to use it quickly. I’m always looking for the cans and was so glad when I saw that I could order them from Sam’s even if they were not in the store!

Swanson's chicken broth in 14 oz cans is often my go-to when cooking favorite dishes and not needing the larger size cartons. This size has increased in price dramatically, but SAMS Club offers this 12-pack at a more reasonable rate. It also arrived in perfect condition; the cans weren't dented.

Three of the cans were dented

I like the broth but 4 of the cans were dented. I ordered on line and I have had bad luck with several items. I thought cans would be safe to ship but I guess not.

I had to order this item from the.. Com! Every can was bent, every can! How can a wshe that is supposed to be shipping products to customers not know to contain the product so it doesn't bounce around! Also how can Sam's club not use a company for shipping millions of dollars in goods for them yearly not find one that will do it so the customer service is correct! It's all about caring employees! It it is clear both do not have that going for them. The broth is good. I just had to take it all out of the bent cans and freeze it so I don't die from Sam's clubs lack of customer service!

Good product and great taste! However Sam's club will pack an item so it gets dented! Every time almost every can good I order! Why is it so hard for them to cushion the items or put them in smaller boxes.. So they don't bounce around.. And then hire drivers/FedEx how cares about anything in the way of customer service! Better still, sell them in the club and I can get it myself..

The broth itself is great. The problem is that the cans are often dented when shipped. This time, however, all the cans were so damaged they leaked and rusted the cans. So frustrating since the nearest Sam's Club is quite a drive from my home just to exchange chicken broth.

Every canned item I ordered the cans were damaged. Unfortunately, the items aren’t stocked in stores so I now just have to buy the items elsewhere.

I wanted to rate this a 0 or a negative # since I’ve been fuming about this purchase. I’ve never seen anything like it. ALL the cans were severely dented and one of them had no label on it whatsoever. I opened a couple cans and smelled them and they seemed ok but the next one made a hissing noise and smelled awful so we tossed it. I’m not using any more of it because I don’t want botulism, UGH! Who is packing this stuff anyway, whoever it was they should be canned pronto. This was a very bad purchase and experience. I’m thinking of taking the remainder and giving it back to Sam’s. Very sad!
