This shake tastes amazing and is kid friendly !It is suitable for lactose intolerant people! It is already mixed in the bottle so it easy to take on the go. Its high in vitamin d and also high in calcium! It great for breakfast and seems to hold me over until lunch!It does not have a chalky taste more of a smooth taste. It tastes just like your having a milkshake!! Definitely a great breakfast shake!!

If pre diabetic or have diabetes stay away from these shakes! It will skyrocket your blood sugar and then it will take you hours to get your blood sugar under control. The other issues are controversial artificial sweeteners and carrageenan causes cancer

However, it does have stevia which makes it taste a bit off, hence the 3 stars. It is convenient for on the go though, or just a quick fill up. I go to work early in the morning and never have time for breakfast, then I dont get lunch so I end up cranky. This definitely helps with that. Ill take the off taste for the fill up I get.

The flavor of mixed berries was subtle and not overbearing to the taste. The drink itself was smooth with no chalky taste at all. Overall this is well tasting protein drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink carnation instant breakfast powder almost daily and keep on hand for my picky eater when nothing else works. The best part of this ready to drink version is definitely having it ready to go in a rush or to keep by my bed for midnight pregnancy hunger pains. I usually drink the plain chocolate flavor in powder, but do love everything cookies n cream so I was excited for this flavor. It is smooth and no chunks at all which I was slightly concerned it might have considering the flavor, but it doesn't. It tastes similar to the chocolate flavor but with an extra sweetness that is similar to icing flavor without being overly sweet. I really like the flavor and that it doesn't need to be refrigerated to drink (tastes great room temperature or cold). Even my son, who is very picky about his drink flavors liked it so it's definitely a flavor we will stick with.
