I love how great it was cold and quenching as well. Qualify is great and definitely did it's job of getting me off to a good morning. Perfect for folks on the go. Highly recommended can't wait to try all available flavors.

I've been drinking the chocolate malt flavor since the late 1960's and I stock up on this product, I went to replenish my inventory and found it was no longer made, please bring chocolate malt instant breakfast back to the market, I will buy enough to make it worthwhile LOL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time consumer of the Carnation Breakfast essentials packets, so was excited to try another variation. I was a little hesitant to try it as it is a shelf stable drink like any other breakfast shake and the taste varies big time by brand. I decided to refrigerate my drink before trying it. It tastes like a shake I'd buy at the drive through! It has a smooth, rich taste. Who doesn't love a chocolate treat for breakfast that is giving you some of the nutrients you need to start your day.It keeps me satisfied for a decent amount of time as well.

Back when it was Instant Breakfast (I still call it that, too), there was an Eggnog flavor. I loved it. Then it went away. I seem to recall enjoying a Mocha flavor, too. It's definitely gone now. Then there was Dark Chocolate. I sometimes mixed it with a little O.J. and vanilla almond milk. LOVED it. And through it all, there was Chocolate Malt. LOVED IT!!! Why? WHY? Why do you keep taking away my favorites?! I still drink it, still get the variety pack because I like the Chocolate and the Vanilla. Don't love the Strawberry, but it's okay. I used to drink it first, and save the Chocolate Malt for last. It's a hard habit to break after 40 years.

I'm a type one diabetic that has trouble keeping weight on. My nutritionist recommend that I drink three glasses of the Carnation Breakfast Essentials a day. I've been doing this every day for the last 6 months. I have gained weight as my doctors has requested and I am very grateful to Nestle for this drink. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

It guess if you are using this to get extra vitamins it wouldn’t be so bad. This is not a product I plan on using regularly.
