[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Carnation Breakfast Essentials in Rich Milk Chocolate in exchange for my honest review. I mixed the powder according to the directions on the packet using 2% milk. I stirred the mixture for about a minute and most of it dissolved pretty easily. It tasted like chocolate milk and didn’t have any “vitamin” taste to it. There were some small clumps of powder still in the milk that I could taste while drinking. After drinking it, I noticed that some of the chocolate powder didn’t get mixed very well because the bottom of my glass was coated. Maybe If I had a milk frother this would have been mixed better.

I love keeping it on hand for those days I am rushing around and forget to eat. It mixes easily with milk for a great and nutritious breakfast in a pinch!

I personally cannot eat early in the morning but need to have something besides coffee to kick my morning off with, and this is my go to. I’ve always been a fan of the chocolate flavor and when I saw cookies and creme I instantly grabbed a box. However it is MEH, I don’t see where its cookies and creme it taste like chocolate to me just a tad bit sweeter. I’m really disappointed but maybe I came in expecting to much since my International Delight Oreo Coffee Creamer has the Cookies and Creme taste in the bag and has spoiled me. I guess I’ll just stick with the normal chocolate and to spin things up add a dash of my creamer to it since I know that’s not going to disappoint me, This flavor needs to be taken back to the drawing board though. Its a flunk, I only gave it 3 stars since its still drinkable.

Thankfully, he is always thirsty in the morning so he will actually drink Carnation Breakfast Essentials without any problems. I like that he gets everything he needs in a good breakfast and he likes that he he can have his breakfast while he is getting ready for school in the mornings just by drinking it. The flavor is great. This is a win-win for our household.

Calcium phosphate allergy in my household. Phosphates removed fm laundry soap due to causing lg amounts of foamy bubbles in waterways. Used only last few yrs in foods. Watch for bubbly pee! Can/has happened! Other than the phosphates, not bad nutrition.

I love its chocolate flavor, it's perfect to take with you when you travel. I recommend it and I will continue to use it . Just like I remember as a kid! The taste is great! Not gritty and dissolves easily. Kept me full and the packaging is convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter drinks these daily to help gain weight. We are excited to try new flavors, she has really only had chocolate. Most days she struggles to drink them. Cookies and cream however went down so fast. I barely got a sip. It had great flavor. It was not gritty, but very smooth. A new favorite for sure.

I love drinking this when I'm pressed on time but want something filling. This is also an easier way for me to get vitamins. These also came in handy when I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes too. I would still want something chocolatey, but this did not spike my blood sugar levels.

I love the classic chocolate malt flavored Instant Breakfast. This has been my breakfast choice for nearly a decade now. First it stopped selling in my local grocery stores. Now it is unavailable online. PLEASE bring classic chocolate malt flavor back, breakfast just won't be the same without it.
