[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The powder has 5g of protein. I like to use regular 2% milk or even the fairlife 2% milk so I’d get a total of 15g or 18g of protein. This is a good way to get some protein into your chocolate milk loving kids along with their meal or snack!

I am deeply saddened by the apparent discontinuation of Classic Chocolate Malt (I still call it Instant Breakfast). I have been drinking this since I was in high school, and I am now in my mid 60’s. I’m sure the product manager that put together this new brand strategy though it was a good idea to discontinue this flavor. It is not. This was by far the best flavor, and Chocolate is not an acceptable substitute. Please bring it back.

It has 21 vitamins and minerals , calcium and vitamin D and also protein so very good for you. It's great for on the go or enjoying at home.

The Breakfast Essentials shake is perfect for those with crazy busy lifestyle or those that don't want to take the time and sit down for breakfast. I also like to use this for my midafternoon pick me up snack. I am always craving sweets around 3 pm and this meets that need plus give me protein at the same time! It's smooth, the colder it is the better it taste and it's portable. Perfect for my needs.

I feel confident giving them chocolate instant breakfast, because of all the nutrients. The powder mixes quickly with a spoon and there is no texture. Smooth creamy chocolate taste.

Back when it was Instant Breakfast (I still call it that, too), there was an Eggnog flavor. I loved it. Then it went away. I seem to recall enjoying a Mocha flavor, too. It's definitely gone now. Then there was Dark Chocolate. I sometimes mixed it with a little O.J. and vanilla almond milk. LOVED it. And through it all, there was Chocolate Malt. LOVED IT!!! Why? WHY? Why do you keep taking away my favorites?! I still drink it, still get the variety pack because I like the Chocolate and the Vanilla. Don't love the Strawberry, but it's okay. I used to drink it first, and save the Chocolate Malt for last. It's a hard habit to break after 40 years.
