I cook breakfast for up to 30 people and when I use 2 cans of this gravy I add 2 pounds of extra pork sausage per can and serve them over Pilsbury Grand biscuits. 1 can serves 14 to 15 people. Don't heat this gravy too hot for too long as it can get thin.

Crumble and brown up a pound of Jimmy Dean sausage. Add to the whole can and then heat. Kick it up another notch and add 3/4 t ground Chipotle. (Now, we're talkin') Serve over Pillsbury Southern Style biscuits. Add some hot sauce on the side. Breakfast don't get no better than this.

When I lived in the mid-west there was a restaurant that served the BEST bisquits and gravy. When I moved to FL I asked them for their recipe. They said it was a "special" recipe, go to Sams and buy Chef-Mate Country Sausage Gravy and heat it up and server. It truely is wonderful. I buy it often and freeze it in small containers.

We started to serve this Sausage Gravy over biscuits along with other items that we offer at our Pancake Breakfast. We serve approx. 350 seniors. At first they were hesitate to try, serve more and more at every breakfast. Great produt, we serve as is.

Chef's Mate Country Sausage Gravy with buttermilk biscuits is our best seller in the little Mom & Pop carryout establishment we own and operate. We use an average of 15 cases per week. Because of the prices at Sam's we can offer our product at a reasonable price. We are located in a very poor area of the country, and this is an inexpensive and delicious, yet warm and filling meal for many of our customers.

I only cook for myself and wanted to try this many times and finally bought it. I have divided it into 6 pint jars and vacuum sealed them and placed in the refrigerator. I cooked up the rest with buttermilk biscuits. I have to say had to add salt and pepper but it tasted just like the truckstops which I crave. So glad I purchased this.

I had to make BULK biscuits and gravy and this worked well to use as a base. I added a lot more sausage and seasonings. I did freeze prior to the event and it as very runny then. But it worked so well having it ready - I would just thicken it up more prior to freezing.

The last 2 cans we'ver purchased of this product have a new red label. Previously, we froze into smaller portions with no problem. The product in these last 2 cans separate when thawing. Also, it separated after heating in crockpot. It will not go back to original consistency after stirring. We tried to contact Nestle Products but the email will not go through.
