My southern self cringed when I bought this but I had a graduation crowd to feed and the events had me exhausted so I went for it. I was REALLY surprised how good this stuff was. Everyone thought I made it. I personally wouldn't go that far but the crowd didn't know the difference. I fed 12 bellys full with plenty, actually to much left overs. My Husband had a idea to make our own biscuit and gravy breakfast bowls to freeze so that's where the rest will go and not a bad idea moving forward for those quick pop in the microwave breakfasts.

When I lived in the mid-west there was a restaurant that served the BEST bisquits and gravy. When I moved to FL I asked them for their recipe. They said it was a "special" recipe, go to Sams and buy Chef-Mate Country Sausage Gravy and heat it up and server. It truely is wonderful. I buy it often and freeze it in small containers.

There was nothing wrong with the product itself. It was the delivery that was bad. Both cans were bent so badly I could hardly open them but managed to do so. Disappointed with Sams for sending them out that way. But we do love this gravy and will continue to buy this as long as we can order it from the store. Can't buy it here local, they don't stock it here anymore

We were kind of terrified of gravy in a can, but everyone who has eaten it at my house loves it.
