I know that Hellman's says that did not change the recipe, but I believe they may have changed the process. Everyone on the planet can't be wrong in thinking this new Mayo taste terrible.while some people may like the bottle (and that is the bulk of good reviews on here) the taste is awful.

Going with recycled plastic was a terrible idea. Bottom of jar looks dirty plus the once great mayonnaise has an off taste to it. Hellman's said they didn't change they recipe so the recycled plastic must have effected the taste. Buying another brand now. Saving the planet but losing your business. Must be another woke genius at work.

I love the design of the squeeze bottle, the smooth neck lets you squeeze out the mayo effortlessly and is less wasteful. The top is not as messy as most tops are and closes nicely. I give the product and the bottle 5 stars!

Miracle Whip was all I used, Then a friend made a chicken salad that was so good and she said to make it I had to use Hellman’s mayo. I bought Hellmans(about 8 years ago) and have been using it ever since, I use it in sandwiches, different salads I make, potato salad, chicken salad and tuna. No more Miracle Whip ever for me. Hellman’s only!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new no mess design. I have used it for sandwiches for school and love the fact I don't have to get a bottle out. It is easy to get as much or as little as I need. It is easy for my kids to use, too. Love the product!!

To be honest, this is the only mayo we buy, it comes in different varieties and sizes for all types of families and preference. This product is great on sandwiches and also a base for pasta salads and the list can go on and one. Also, they have a great recipe section on their site!

The Mayo has changed and it’s disgusting. It almost taste like miracle whip and it’s really runny. I have been using Hellmann’s mayonnaise for 40 years and I thought I got a bad jar so I went to four different grocery stores to buy four different jars. Each one was equally inedible. I don’t know what they did to change but I am moving on. They say they didn’t change the formula, but something is dramatically different for the worse.

Somewhere around 2015, Hellmanns Real Mayonnaise changed drastically. Be it from a change in ingredient or process or tooling or timing or whatever, it DID change and was simply ruined. It became whiter, thinner, non-eggy, oily-airy, less tasty, gaggy, detestable,...., comparable to a low fat non-egg spread, and seriously yucky! SO, now that we original Hellmanns lifetime die-hard fans have suffered our "real mayo" deprivation for about three years, can you please "invent" a retro-Hellmanns for us? Pretty, pretty please?! You may be lost to me, but you'll be forever in my dreams.
