The Undisputed King of Mayonnaise! Unmatched Richness and Flavor. [Overview] When it comes to mayonnaise, it's all about richness and depth of flavor, and Best Foods delivers exactly that. It is the gold standard of mayo. Once you try it, it is incredibly difficult to go back to any other brand because of its distinctly deep, savory taste. Why It Deserves 5 Stars Unmatched Richness and Texture The balance of high-quality ingredients creates a remarkably smooth, velvety texture that melts beautifully on the palate. It avoids any artificial sweetness or overly sharp acidity, focusing instead on a heavy, authentic, and comforting savory richness. The Ultimate Culinary Complement While it makes a fantastic dipping sauce on its own, it truly shines when used in cooking. It serves as the perfect, robust base for custom sauces—such as a rich cream sauce for seared salmon or a tangy tartar sauce for seafood. It enhances the natural flavors of your main ingredients without overpowering them. Perfect Consistency The texture strikes the ideal balance—neither too runny nor excessively stiff. It has just the right amount of body, making it effortless to spread smoothly onto sandwich bread or emulsify into a light salad dressing without clumping. Highly Recommended For: "Anyone who prefers a traditional, savory, and full-bodied mayo over sweeter alternatives." "Home cooks looking for a premium base to elevate seafood dishes, gourmet sandwiches, and custom dips." After trying countless brands, this is the one I always return to. It is the absolute benchmark for what mayonnaise should be. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Just got this from @infuenster today. Tried it out tonight. Seems like it will stay clean and not be messy. Used it to help fix dinner tonight. #squeezemore-out work great. See the video of it being used.

I've purchased this mayonnaise my entire life because it's the best one out there - but it's not something to order shipped to your home during summer months, apparently. I opened the box less than 5 minutes after it's arrival and found that the contents of the jar of mayonnaise was gray. I highly doubt that it was put in the box looking like that! I jumped on Samsclub.com to request a return and was informed that it was a non-returnable item. So whatever i saved by buying it on sale was wasted, by a big bunch. And as an FYI, our closest Sam's is an hour and a half away, that's why we get things shipped - not because we're lazy!

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise is the classic that sets the benchmark for all others. Its rich, creamy texture spreads smoothly and enhances everything from sandwiches and wraps to salads and dips. The flavor is perfectly balanced—savory, tangy, and indulgent—making it a versatile staple in the kitchen. Compared to other brands, this one consistently delivers the authentic taste people trust. It's reliable, flavorful, and elevates everyday meals with a touch of timeless quality.

Wonderful product. Easy to find in the store, easy access. Fair pricing. Best Foods is a big part of many recipes and cooking in our home. No sandwich is complete without it!

Whether it's Best Foods out west or Hellmann's back east, this mayonnaise never disappoints. For all of my eighty years on this earth (okay, parents and grandparents used it during my earliest years) it is has been the "go-to" choice regardless of price - it is a little more expensive than some other national brands but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for - for three generations of my family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received a free bottle of Hellman's Real Mayonnaise in its new squeeze bottle clean top bottle for review! My son loved making his own sandwich & of course adding Hellmann's Mayonnaise! Mom loves the the new top let's you add mayo with out a huge mess spraying every where and no gross crusty left overs on this bottle top. A bonus: it's like drawing with Hellmann's Mayonnaise, you can make your artwork or write a cute message with this new top design! Yummmm

The taste has changed and not for the better. I remember when it was made by Corn Products in Argo, Illinois and then Best Foods. It was the only mayonnaise used in my household. Now I started making my own. I still haven't got that original taste but I'll keep trying. Go back to the original recipe please!!!!

This new squeeze bottle is terrible. Is this a strategy for Hellman's to make more money on the already overpriced product? It's difficult to get all the mayonnaise out compared to a normal jar. It's a waste of money!!!!

I am 78 years old. I HAD been a Hellman's customer my entire life until a year ago when the taste changed and the richness. Yours tastes like many of the other brands now I"ve tried since noticing the change. It is now far more lemony tasting and the only other Mayo I've found close is Whataburgers! You have lost me as a customer. I even used your Best Maid when I would travel to those areas.
