While I had never tried it before, I gave it a shot and found that it didn't quite suit my tastes. The flavor didn't appeal to me, and I was hoping for a better experience. However, my fiancée enjoyed it and finished it, so it may just be a matter of personal preference.

I've been using "Real mayo" for a long time and noticed that for a while, the taste of the mayo is different, and it is not pleasant. Change in the oil? other ingredients? Well, if someone from the company ever read the comments, they should know that the taste is not good, it is even unpleasant.I will try the competitor once more and see if it works for me. I read other comments about the same thing, and you should know they come from long time customers..

From a business standpoint I've always found that if you have a great product or service people don't mind paying a little more to get what they really want or like. However when you are paying more and getting less people WILL find something else without looking back. You've had a great product, don't think for a minute that you can keep raising your price and than lower your quality and people will never know the difference. Seasoned cooks are not easily fooled. Just a word to the wise. I make it my practice not to recommend something unless I am fully pleased with it because it is not your name on the line, it is mine! In the past I have used Hellmanns Mayonnaise for salads to serve at weddings because it was the best, when you consider returning to your original recipe I will most definitely recommend this product again!!!

Since I have been out on my own, I tried a few different brands, but I have always come back because the taste cannot be found elsewhere. Even the light mayonnaise tastes great to me. I love the new squeeze bottle, especially for picnics! No need to worry about using a knife, or things getting in an open jar. I will always buy Best Foods/Hellsmans.

First and foremost my package arrived quite messy due to the poor design of these large jars, unfortunately there was no peeling seal and mayonnaise was all over the exterior of the jar. Aside from the design of the jar, this mayonnaise is my favorite by far. The flavor and texture is perfect and pairs well with sandwiches, dips, egg salads, deviled eggs, and so much more. I usually purchase Hellman's Mayonnaise in the squirt bottles which includes a peel seal and I love the design of these bottles. I would recommend Hellman's Mayonnaise and would continue to purchase.

A lot of people might not like mayo but I do. I put it on my sandwich, I put a bit of Ketchup when I eat certain foods. This is also good with bake chicken it’s a very good recipe. It’s very affordable to purchase depending where is bought because some places sell it more pricey.

Hellmans, you changed something! It's thinner/runnier, it doesn't taste as rich and there's some odd different, almost chemical, taste. Why did you change a recipe that's worked for so long? If you were trying to save a couple pennies per jar, good luck with that. I know you have lost a life-long consumer because I won't be buying Hellmans anymore. (It's actually BestFoods out here)

I love Paula Deen and when I watched one of her shows, she opened her pantry and said if she has less than 10 jars of Hellmann's Mayo then she starts to panic LOL. I have not been satisficed w/what I was using at the time and thought I will try Hellmann's. I LOVE IT!!! Don't dare change the recipe please!!!

Mayo is so fatty but I love it anyways. Hellman's mayo has some quality that makes it super good with grilled cheese sandwiches (try it, seriously!) That's mostly what I use it for, so I kind of wish it came in a smaller tub, but it keeps for an almost suspiciously long time.

Mayo is a staple in our home, we use it on sandwiches, pasta salad, coat chicken cutlets in it instead of eggs before breading makes them so much creamier. Great value for the quality, usually find deals at thr local grocery store. Extremely satisfied have been for years.
