It’s been years since I’ve had this and I wasn’t even sure ‘Best Foods’ was the Hellman’s I remember. I was absolutely delighted to find that it is, and the flavor is just as I remember it. Takes me back to my childhood! The perfect complement to the cranberry salad I made for Christmas.

The taste of the original mayonnaise has changed. The conglomerate responsible for manufacturing our goods has moved to cheap, I undesirable ingredients. I will make homemade mayonnaise from now on. They’ve ruined so many food products. Very upsetting.

Definitely my go to mayonnaise!! I always got a jar of this mayo on hand at all times!! I use to be a Miracle whip fan until Hellman's came into my life!! I still add a scoop or two of Miracle Whip in my Potato & Pasta Salad cause it's just NOT the same without it! But for everyday use it's gotta be The Real Hellman's MAYO!!! Real Mayonnaise Jar

I have been using Hellmann's for over 40 years. It is the only mayonnaise allowed in my house. It has the best texture, the best flavor, the best everything. I use it in salads, on sandwiches, I even make a chocolate cake with it. It is truly a favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Hellman's Real Mayonnaise in the new squeeze bottles! Hellman's has been the quality mayonnaise on our sandwiches for years and it is a nostalgic flavor for me as my mother and grandmother both used Hellman's. However, I don't like getting mayo on my hands when I'm trying to scrape the remnants out of the bottom of the jar. There is no scraping with this new squeeze bottle and there are also no remnants as the bottle design enables more mayo to be squeezed out of the packaging! It is fabulous! Also, the precision tip makes it especially helpful to place the mayonnaise exactly where you want it (read: no extra hanging over the edge of the bread after wiping your knife). This ensures that more mayo gets in my mouth and belly and less on my hands and fingers.

Recently found out from a friend that their doctor recommended it, because they were diagnosed with diabetes.  It doesn't have sugar, like a lot of of "dressing" types do.  So, that is now my best reason to recommend it for a healthier choice.  I personally happen to like the taste and texture of it. Grew up with it and have tried others over the years, but they are never the same.  This also happens to cook better, when using it in recipes. I've heard you can bake with it too, but I haven't tried any recipes with it, yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what the price is of this new item, but it really is not a large container. I usually buy Hellmann's light mayo in the large jar. Also, not sure if you can really get all the mayo out of this squeeze container like you can with the jar. It is nice that you can squeeze it right onto the bread and the opening stays clean. I have used the old squeeze containers in the past, but always seem to go back to the jar.
