I love your mayonnaise, and have used nothing else for decades. However, using plastic bottles instead of glass is bad for the environment and NOT a step forward in marketing! Additionally, the squeezy bottle is less easy to use and more wasteful as you cannot use every last drop.

Hellman's is gipping us all! 15 or so yrs ago, Hellmans changed its plastic squeeze bottle which had a wide mouthed top, to a taller, narrower squeeze bottle which made it more difficult to get the remaining 20% of the mayo out. Now they've done it again! They think we won't notice! Have made the mouth ever so slightly more narrow so that you can't get even more of the mayo out. Have to throw away & open new bottle. The president of Hellmams claims to be environmentally concerned, but that's a lie. He can sell more mayo if we can't empty the bottle. Very sneaky & hypocritical - & frustrating & insulting to the consumer. Does he think we're too stupid to notice? I hope his grandchildren realize he's a liar & a phoney.

I grew up on Helmann's Real Mayonnaise and my kids have grown up on it. However, lately we keep getting jars with a funny taste and have to discard them. Today we discarded the third jar in the last six months. Quality control must have dropped. I think we will keep trying but on the 4th jar, we will have to find a different mayonnaise.

I’ve been a Hellmann’s gal for as long as I can remember. Funny story when I was pregnant 🤰 with my son I had bad cravings for anything in mayonnaise so at the time I was caught eating the mayonnaise right out of the jar lol. But anyway you can always catch a good sale on this product.

It would be more helpful if they published the date of each review. For the record, this review is being written on April 5, 2019. They changed the recipe again, and this time, the change is not good. It has lost the flavor and creamy consistency that Hellmann's was famous for. I probably will continue to buy this product, but I am no happy that they compromised the quality of the product by changing the recipe. I did notice the the %DV of cholesterol was lowered from 5% to 3%, which I believe is caused by watering it down with water and oil. It is a very noticeable difference from the quality that used to be there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can never go wrong with this brand of mayo. It has the great classic flavor that always seems high quality. The new packaging being from fully recycled plastic is a nice addition. It makes a killer addition to a BLT.

My mother used to make mayonnaise for our sandwiches ... untill we tasted Hellmann's ! Even mom had to admit ... Hellmann's tasted better ! It has a bright good tasting flavor that accents other foods . Mom put away the mayonnaise maker and it's been Hellmann's for two generations and now going on a third. ! Been a Hellmann's family for over 50 years ... it is truely REAL mayonnaise !

Mayonnaise is one of my go to condiments. Whether I am spreading it on a sandwich or dipping my French fries in it, it is amazing. Hellman's is the best brand for mayonnaise that I have found. It is the only one that I buy. I also get the original because it has the best flavor.

The world's best mayonnaise just became crap within the past 18 months I have a soy allergy and I have been having hives and fever and breaking out and throat closing from soybean oil allergy why did Hellman's change their recipe without telling people they started using soybean oil

Hellmann's is by far the creamiest, thickest & best tasting mayo on the market!! It is the only mayo my parents used and the only mayo my family uses and will continue to use! An absolute MUST for my mom's world famous potato salad! BEST in the summer on sandwiches with fresh picked garden tomatoes off the vine. Thank you Hellmann's for this incredible product and PLEASE never change how you make it as it is PERFECT!!!!
