I, personally am not a fan of regular mayonnaise but my husband and son can't live without it and this is their favorite brand. I am never without this in the house. They go nuts if they have to use mine. I think it is a great product and will always be a good customer

Hellmans mayo is just that-the best! No muss, no fuss, just goes about quietly improving the taste of every dish it's used in. Only one suggested improvement, and that's not the product. Use straight neck jars instead of narrow neck jars so that I can more easily get every last bit of goodness! Let's try it and see, should be no difference in production cost.

I agree w/others who pointed out the flaws in the squeeze bottle. Great idea , but VERY poor design. Does NOT squeeze out well and the opening after you take off the cap is not large enough to get the remaining mayo out. One person said she cut it in half and retrieved 1/2 cup of mayo -- probably the ONLY way to get it out. I will definitely NOT be buying the squeeze bottle again!

The taste of the original mayonnaise has changed. The conglomerate responsible for manufacturing our goods has moved to cheap, I undesirable ingredients. I will make homemade mayonnaise from now on. They’ve ruined so many food products. Very upsetting.

I have always LOVED Hellmann's mayo.....when I moved to the west coast, I lamented that I had to use Best Mayo.....even though it's the same product.....just because of my loyalty to the brand. However, recently, I'm noticing the Hellmann's is no longer the product is used to be. It always had a more solid feel that didn't spread evenly, because it stuck together more, and the flavor popped with freshness. The longer it stayed, even though it was still good, that texture would smooth out and it would lose a little of it's flavor, but that's when you knew it was time for a new jar. Now, a brand new jar is WAY too smooth, and doesn't have the same viscosity. The flavor is dull, and borders on tasting spoiled. The freshness and "pop" is long gone. It no longer brightens the flavor of sandwiches, and mixed with tuna, it just loses all of the qualities that made it special. It's no longer the product that I felt such loyalty to. We've shown you loyalty all these years, yet they seem to have dismissed us all. It's very sad, but typical, and shows that corporations really don't care about its customers.

Why change something that was good and worked well for over 40 years? The change in recipe makes vinegar more noticeable makes it taste pungent and quite honestly just plain awful. It is creamier as advertised, so much so that it's runny and the texture feels a lot worse and is more suceptible to changes in temperature.

The taste has changed. Hellmans has indicated that they did not change the recipe, so this must be a change along the supply line. It tastes like miracle whip, which is significantly different from their old “real mayo”. Please change it back. I have switched to Duke until you fix the issue

I love the eggy, tangy flavor, it's the only my mother bought, and the only one I've bought for at least 40 yrs. I live in fear that US-made Hellmann's will change it's taste (Canadian Hellmann's is awful, our local market had it once). In preparation for that possibility I have tried making my own mayonnaise but I can't find a recipe that comes close. I hope Hellmann's prevails in keeping the eggs in the term "mayonnaise."

I can't tell you about the other types of Hellman's Mayonnaise but I can tell you all about Hellman's Real Mayonnaise. I grew up on it. I am in my 60s. So, I have used Hellman's for many decades. I have tried other brands like Kraft and store brands but I did not like them at all. I will never buy anything but Hellman's again. I even notice when sub shops use a different mayonnaise on my sub. It just doesn't have the same flavor. Now, maybe I just got used to the taste of Hellman's. Maybe that is the reason that I only like Hellman's. No, not at all. I am very particular about the flavors in my foods. I use spices in my cooking. I don't over spice, I choose exactly which spices to use in which foods and how much of each spice to use in a particular dish. I also use many sauces to enhance the flavor of the foods that I cook. What flavors you add to various foods either bring out the natural flavors, take away from the natural flavors, or overwhelm the natural flavors. It is very important to me to enhance the natural flavors without taking away from them or overwhelming them. This is what chefs do. I'm not a chef but I do care about how my food tastes. So, Hellman's always makes everything taste better. I use it on sandwiches, in macaroni salad, and even in the cakes that I make. Hellman's on tomatoes is amazing. You don't even need to make it into a sandwich. You can just cut up some tomatoes and put Hellman's on top of the slices. It really enhances the flavor of so many foods.
