Why did Hellmans change the texture of their products. I do not like the taste or mayo texture and makes my potato salad taste different. People have commented that my salad tastes different. I agree with them. Please change back to original recipe!

As a big Mayonnaise eater, I had to try one day Hellmann's Mayonnaise. And I must say that i'm not disapointed at all. It's delicious! Creamy, perfect texture and a very nice taste I love in sandwiches. It simply makes everything better. I'll continue to buy Hellmann's Mayonnaise!

Mayo in squeeze bottles is so much easier than the jar. Nice quantity for the price, good taste, better ingredients than some other brands. What happened to the great taste of my hellman's? I used to loved licked the spoon after I made a salad or the knife after I made a sandwich. The flavor has changed so much that I may try another mayonaise. I have been using Hellman's for over 60yrs.

I have to say Hellmann's Mayonnaise is my all-time favorite. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! Hellmann's on crackers are a delicious snack. It also makes my homemade pimento cheese tastes great. And I love the Dijonnaise to eat with pretzels. I recommend anything Hellmann's!!!

The addition of water to mayonnaise is an attempt to cheapen your product with serious detriment to the quality. The reason people are complaining about oil separation is due to the addition of water. The egg is not enough to maintain the emulsion. I know all brands are doing this and you are just trying to keep your price competitive; however, the brand that reintroduces an all oil mayonnaise will probably dominate the market. Also, do not tell me the addition of water is an attempt to reduce calories. If that is true then you would have restricted this tactic to the light mayonnaise.

You can deny you have changed the ingredients all day long, but the true test is in the taste and it is NOT the same Hellmann's. I'm 75 and have loved this mayonnaise all my life. First of all when you look at the jar there is a greyish color to the container. It is no longer an ivory color looking at the jar. Just that alone is off-putting. I thought it was me; thought I had let my mayo go bad. NO - the taste is really bad and then I read some comments that others made online, and it confirmed I was correct. This is a real shame. I now have to find another mayonnaise. Not sure I'll find one with the taste as good as your original product, but hopefully it won't taste rancid. It's always sad when a great brand changes the flavor of their product. And this was truly the very best mayo on the market. I ask you: have you actually tasted your product? Because if you had, you would surely agree with the people who have noticed and contacted you about this terrible new taste. I have one 15 oz jar left. Although it was very expensive to purchase, I am throwing the unopened jar away and will no longer be a customer. Goodbye Hellmann's...

When someone says mayo, I think of ONLY Hellmann's & ONLY the original. The flavor is unmistakable & unmatched by any other brand. It's never greasy or oily, and it's the best coating for adding breading to any fried food! It is after all made with eggs!

The taste of the original mayonnaise has changed. The conglomerate responsible for manufacturing our goods has moved to cheap, I undesirable ingredients. I will make homemade mayonnaise from now on. They’ve ruined so many food products. Very upsetting.
