This is the only mayonnaise that we use it’s the only one that taste fresh and has the right amount of taking us. There’s no way that I would improve this product because we’ve been using it for years and I would definitely recommend it for others it’s not that expensive.

Hellmanns is the only mayonaisse to buy, as far as I'm concerned. The flavor is great, it has a smooth consistency, and makers the food that it is mixed with taste even better, like egg and tuna salad.It is also superb as a dressing on salad and a marinade on chicken.

I have been using Hellmann's mayo exclusively for over 60 years. I have briefly tried others over the years but their taste and texture or consistency never equaled Hellmann's. I am not sure when it happened, but you have apparently changed my favorite mayo's texture and probably the taste which in my opinion went hand and hand. I liked the original Hellmann's before you made the change. That made it Hellmann's and that was the best. I am sure you had reasons for the change but feel you have disappointed millions of users who liked the original Hellmann's mayo more than your current version. It is true we will all be dead soon enough and the next generation will never know what the original Hellmann's tasted like. If possible you may wish to re-issue the original as an alternative to your current version and have two products.

Much less waste when using the product and more control over where product is placed. I use in my recipies for baking as well for a "crusty crust" on my meats and the kids love it. I have been buying Hellmann's for more years than I am willing to reveal. Additionally, I grew up with it - my mom was also a Hellmann's lover. The potato salad that I make is straight from the back of the jar and my family would be outraged if a 'pretender' showed up on the table. That said, I am concerned about the integrity of the product and its enduring reputation. The last two jars I purchased did not deliver on consistency - decidedly different. Not as thick and not as creamy. I would not give an unqualified recommendation of the 'new Hellmann's' to a friend. Please go back to the original recipe - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!".

this upside down bottle has to be slammed to make it squirt the mayo. toward the end it just won't come out and have to get what I can with a small knife. the taste of the upside down bottle is different than the regular bottled mayo. we don't like it. we would buy Hellmann's in a regular jar any day, but not the upside down one.

It's said that misery loves company - and in this instance, I have a LOT of company - but it is of little consolation to my family. I am happy, however, to see that it isn't just my taste buds gone awry. After using Hellman's exclusively and religiously touting its superiority for some 45+ years, I will no longer buy it, use it nor recommend it. I, too, notice the changes in flavor, consistency and shelf stability and, sadly, Hellman's is no longer the product I've loved for a lifetime. Whether the changes were due to cost considerations, availability of raw materials, or changes in manufacturing processes makes no difference. I feel relatively certain the new formula was never presented to an independent focus group of dedicated Hellman's users. With all due respect, sometimes change is not for the better, as Coke discovered, and we must go back and reassess our actions. It appears that a legion of former Hellman's users, myself included, sincerely hope you'll do just that and bring back our beloved REAL mayonnaise.

I have been buying Hellmans for over 50 years. I have been buying the big jar at a big box store and the last time I bought it I thought it was going bad because it looked darker. I purchased a new jar and the same thing. Then I read the label. New plastic. Who thought this was a good idea. Not a fan and not a happy customer. People look at the jar and they don't want to use it. Sorry for the review as I have always been a fan. Have to make deviled eggs and not sure what to do.
