For the first time in my life Hellman’s has failed me. It’s tastes like cheap supermarket mayonnaise, very vinegary. Even the kids are leaving it untouched. The husband who doesn’t eat it has noticed the change of colour. Over 40 years of loyalty ends now. Even the Olive oil one tasted better than this. You need to apologise to your customers for this recipe.

We have used Hellman's Mayo for years. The recipe has definitely changed. It's now SO runny that it affects how much we have to use in recipes and the consistency of the finished product. Hellman's, please look at this. The current recipe is less than satisfactory and will now influence future purchases from this company

Ever since I was a little kid, the only thing I liked on my sandwiches was Hellmans. Now, as an adult, it is still the only thing I use on my sandwiches, in my potato salad and any other salad I make. It is just not as good with any other mayonnaise!

Hellmans mayo is just that-the best! No muss, no fuss, just goes about quietly improving the taste of every dish it's used in. Only one suggested improvement, and that's not the product. Use straight neck jars instead of narrow neck jars so that I can more easily get every last bit of goodness! Let's try it and see, should be no difference in production cost.

If there is one ingredient I cannot be without in my house it is Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. I use it in so many recipes -- from savory lunches to breakfast sandwiches -- but nothing mixes like Hellmann's. If you try to use anything else on say a lobster or shrimp roll, or especially something like chicken or ham salad, you will taste the different immediately. I also use Hellmann's in several hot recipes, including this incredible warm blue cheese dip that is great by itself, but excellent on chicken sandwiches with a little hot sauce and celery. The other place Hellmann's really shines in my cooking is to accent otherwise bland combinations. For example, I make five different kinds of dinner roll sliders and even on the ones you'd never think to add mayo, like the Asian beef sliders, adding a dollop of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise gives it more depth. The other best thing I like about using the Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise as opposed to any other condiment is how well it holds other flavors and marries with other ingredients. Over the past few decades, I've been inspired to make at least 20 different kinds of spreads using it as a base. I first became inspired to use it with shredded basil, Worcestershire sauce and kosher salt like an herbed aioli, but as the years have unfolded I've discovered all sorts of other amazing combos, like hot sauce spiced mayo for homemade faux sushi rolls, and even mixing it with extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, lemon, salt and pepper for THE perfect accompaniment to French fries. It is a must-have for almost any salad dressing, especially those you can use for dipping. Another amazing thing about Hellmann's Real Mayo is how good it is for leftovers. Even leftover holiday dishes you don't think you can stomach for one more helping can become special and refreshed with a slather of Hellmann's. One of my favorite things to do is take a slice of cold stuffing and put it on a plate. Mix leftover cranberry sauce and spread it on the stuffing. Then place a few pieces of turkey atop that followed by more cran-mayo. Then top that with another sliver of cold stuffing. It's tough to beat a cold meatloaf sandwich with Hellmann's Mayo on soft white bread, but this is a close second when it comes to revamping leftovers. Best and most used ingredient goes to Hellmann's Real Mayo for me.

Maybe we're old but we like the jar. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find Hellmann's lite mayonnaise for almost a month and a half here in the Bangor Maine area. My wife finally found it but it was in the squeeze bottle. That may work fine for some people or applications but we prefer it in the jar. Why have you not been supplying this area with both your products?? BTW we love Hellman's Mayo and always buy it but we want the product to be available to us. Thank you

This is the only brand of mayonnaise I use I don't use anything else I love this mayonnaise it tastes good it's not salty it has a real good taste I put it tuna salad sandwiches I make potato salad with this and pasta and macaroni salad it has never let me down this is well worth it

Please don’t advertise as simple products ….. changing the recipe some time ago ruined the simplicity of your product. I always counted on Hellmans for simple natural products, and that has been ruined over time. Calcium Disodiym EDTA is not a simple ingredient, nor however you want to spin it is it worth ruining your product for shelf life. Finally the public is getting informed and perhaps that will alarm your company to go back to it roots

It allows you to put as much or as little as you like on. Also love the new clean lock cap that allows you to stand it up in the refrigerator and not have to worry about shaking it everytime you want to use it.
