I agree w/others who pointed out the flaws in the squeeze bottle. Great idea , but VERY poor design. Does NOT squeeze out well and the opening after you take off the cap is not large enough to get the remaining mayo out. One person said she cut it in half and retrieved 1/2 cup of mayo -- probably the ONLY way to get it out. I will definitely NOT be buying the squeeze bottle again!

I actually used to really dislike the thought of mayonnaise when I was younger and even into most of my adulthood, but I think that's because I had never really tried it, especially in the right circumstances. I only like to use Hellmann's and I LOVE to put it on everything. Burgers, BLT's, dipping french fries in it...it's such an underrated condiment, especially because you can mix it spices and other ingredients to transform it!

If there is one ingredient I cannot be without in my house it is Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. I use it in so many recipes -- from savory lunches to breakfast sandwiches -- but nothing mixes like Hellmann's. If you try to use anything else on say a lobster or shrimp roll, or especially something like chicken or ham salad, you will taste the different immediately. I also use Hellmann's in several hot recipes, including this incredible warm blue cheese dip that is great by itself, but excellent on chicken sandwiches with a little hot sauce and celery. The other place Hellmann's really shines in my cooking is to accent otherwise bland combinations. For example, I make five different kinds of dinner roll sliders and even on the ones you'd never think to add mayo, like the Asian beef sliders, adding a dollop of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise gives it more depth. The other best thing I like about using the Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise as opposed to any other condiment is how well it holds other flavors and marries with other ingredients. Over the past few decades, I've been inspired to make at least 20 different kinds of spreads using it as a base. I first became inspired to use it with shredded basil, Worcestershire sauce and kosher salt like an herbed aioli, but as the years have unfolded I've discovered all sorts of other amazing combos, like hot sauce spiced mayo for homemade faux sushi rolls, and even mixing it with extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, lemon, salt and pepper for THE perfect accompaniment to French fries. It is a must-have for almost any salad dressing, especially those you can use for dipping. Another amazing thing about Hellmann's Real Mayo is how good it is for leftovers. Even leftover holiday dishes you don't think you can stomach for one more helping can become special and refreshed with a slather of Hellmann's. One of my favorite things to do is take a slice of cold stuffing and put it on a plate. Mix leftover cranberry sauce and spread it on the stuffing. Then place a few pieces of turkey atop that followed by more cran-mayo. Then top that with another sliver of cold stuffing. It's tough to beat a cold meatloaf sandwich with Hellmann's Mayo on soft white bread, but this is a close second when it comes to revamping leftovers. Best and most used ingredient goes to Hellmann's Real Mayo for me.

I was raised on your Best Foods brand in California because it was the only mayonnaise that my mom bought and she was from New Jersey! When I moved to North Carolina, I was thrilled that you had the Hellman's Brand here and that's what I buy! I'm always telling locals that their favorite unmentioned brand of mayonnaise can never compare to yours!! You will always be the Number 1 mayonnaise in my house!!

My family has been using Hellman’s for over 40 years. I can’t believe how they would change the recipe. The old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” should have really been adhered too in this case. I think I will be trying a different mayonnaise, if they dint go back to the old recipe.

My #2 always! If I can’t get my hands on some Hellmanns Mayonnaise Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I know I can always count on Hellmanns Real Mayonnaise to make the perfect dish...just maybe not quite as healthy as my first choice. 😬 Same great taste, same smoothness, same everything but health label.

This is a staple in our house. I use to be a miracle whip girl, but not anymore. I have been using Hellman’s since I was a little girl. I just like how creamy and thick it is. The flavor is so mild that it doesn’t overpower your dish. I have tried other brands of mayonnaise, but the flavor doesn’t even come close. Yes I would recommend this product and I will be purchasing more when this jar is gone.
