[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put two stars because this is a good razor, that is sharp and do the job. Is it enough? No! The first impression it give is poor. The packaging is very basic and looks like a packaging from 20 years ago. I would never stop on this on based on the packaging if I was facing a row full of razors. The blades are precise and I can do the job by passing on my chick only once, without too much pressure. However the lubrification strip is truly basic and close to a very first price razor. This razor has a precise cut for a clean finish however I expect more from a razor. It has to be more modern, with extra features, extra lubrification strips, confortable handle...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this razor this morning and was very happy. It did not leave any razor burn whatsoever which I almost always get every time. I had to go over a few areas multiple times but I would prefer that over once and getting cut and bleeding any day of the week. I would get the cartridges for this any day now going forward.

I have used these razors for around 25 years. I would always find a few in the pack of new razor heads that had poor quality blades.I went to Sam’s Club to get new heads, they had a special on Mach 3 where I could get the razor handle and around 15-20 new heads cheaper than the heads alone. I had, maybe 3 heads, that were quality and the rest would not cut at all especially after the first use. I’m changing, they have just gone down hill so far that they are too expensive to waste my money on poor quality.

I have been buying gilette razors for over 30 years. The year or two the price has gone down, but so has the quality. Gilette likes to advertise that you can get up to 15 shaves per razor. Nothing could be farther than the truth. I used to get up to 6 or so shaves per refill. But lately after 4 shaves they don't shave too good. If I try to use more I will more than likely cut myself. I never once got 15 shaves from s refill. With this new quality issue I think I may have to try another option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use a safety razor, but was intrigued to see how Mach 3 would compare. With the safety razor you have to be very careful with the angle you are shaving to get the best shave but with the Mach 3 you don't have this issue, as it will always give you a consistent shave. The quality of the Razor handle seemed a little low for my liking, but it was nothing that would effect your shave. All in all it's a good smooth shaving razor that lends itself to groggy morning shaves as I don't have to think too hard to get good results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mach III is the gold standard of razor blades. Not too many blades, they don’t irritate your face, and they are super easy to use, and clean. The glide strip works and I find myself getting excellent shaves from one blade for about two weeks before I have to change it. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. And I want to say I have tried the cheap competitor that makes it bleed very similar to this that will fit in your handle, but truth be told they are not quite the same and they don’t do quite as good a job. So spend a couple more bucks and get the best shape but you can never have. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. The new blue moisturizer strip on the Mach 3 is terrible. Please go back to the original!!
