[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Gillette Mach3 Men's Razor for the last two weeks, and it's been awesome. I purchased other brands, and after two weeks they started to become dull. The Gillette Mach3 Men's Razor continues to afford very close shaving. Don't have to worry about razor bumps or accidental cuts! Gillette Mach3 Men's Razor is just awesome! I already have recommended it to many of my colleagues.

I used this razor for several years. However, over the last year I noticed a change in the quality of the shave. I now get razor burn and bumps as well as having to shave more often. I used to get a smooth shave and it stayed nice for 24 hours. Now, by the afternoon time after shaving with this blade, my skin is irritated and my hair is making my face rough. It's really frustrating. I tried the Proglide Shield and it actually hurts to shave with this razor. Any suggestions are welcome.

The blades are extra sharp which prevents pulling of your hair make me at almost effortless to remove any amount of hair from any area. The blades have a lot of space between them and the back of the cartridge is open to help you remove all of the hair that would normally get stuck in the razor. I have already recommend this product to many of my friends and coworkers.

I have used the original Mach 3 razor ever since it came on the market. I have tried some of the so called improved versions and found them to be no better than the plain old Mach 3. I don't however like the price in recent years, it seems to climb every-time I return to the store. Get the hint Gillette (ha-ha)!!! All in all, in my opinion, It is the best razor on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very different razor, than any I've used in the past; the blade head is nearly parallel to the handle body. This is such a natural position, I'm perplexed as to why this is not more of a "normal" construction and design method. The range of motion on the floating head is almost 45 degrees, providing real latitude, while navigating the contours of my face. Also, this if the first razor I've used, where I felt no concern about nicks, cuts and other "razor meets skin" mishaps. Skin contact feels very light and forgiving. Installation and replacement of the cutting head is also the easiest, most straightforward approach I've seen as well. The handle body is weighty and well-made. "Sturdy" is the word. This razor is a joy to use. I'll be purchasing replacement blades for this one. It's a keeper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was the light weight of the razor. It just didn't feel as good as some of the other razors I have tried. The handle was so thin, I felt like I wasn't getting enough pressure while shaving. The shave was good, not great. It is an average razor, all in all.

For comfort and closeness of shave I'd rate this nearly as high as my favorite four blade refillable razor and higher than the better quality disposable razors that are available. The handle is comfortable to hold. I didn't nick myself at all but I rarely do any more with any razor. It glides easily over my face. I would definitely recommend the Gillette Mach3 razor and would consider purchasing it in the future if I would get a better deal on it than my favorite four blade refillable razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical of a “3 blade disposable” razor since I’m used to my 5 blade w/edging blade premium razor, but if you read on, you can see that skeptics can be changed..... Absolutely LOVE this razor for being a 3 blade razor! I typically use 5 blade razors with an edging blade on the backside for lines and doing, but having the opportunity to use Gillette’s Mach 3 razor, I was not disappointed. The lubricant strip kept my face slick in combination with my shave cream. The skin guard protected against knicks and bumps, and the handle felt like a premium handle! I believe Gillette is marketing this product as a “disposable”, however if they can package these three blade cartridges with lubricant strips and skin guard at a reasonable price, this set will make it in my toiletry bag for overnight trips, vacations, and getaways! You’re onto something Gillette. Keep up the great work!

I have thick facial hair and very sensitive skin that gets irritated easily. 4 or 5 blade razors would clog because of my thick hair, I didn't have that problem with the Mach3. My skin felt smooth had no irritation after shaving with the Mach3
