I've used several blade configurations by Gillette and others. I repeatedly come back to the Mach3. It lasts for more shaves and provides more comfort. These blades are better than Harry's by far. If I'm lucky I can get 1 to 1 1/2 shaves out of Harry's. I will stick to Mach3.

The handle was so thin, I felt like I wasn't getting enough pressure while shaving. The shave was good, not great. It is an average razor, all in all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’ve been using the gillette match3 razors for 1 week an a half and so far so good, i'm starting to love it even more because the blade really stay sharp. so far i have notice the gel work good but i do wish that it could last longer the gel part makes for a smooth shaving but i have shaving cream and it also help too the blade are sharp so you do have to becareful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach 3 razor provides a good close shave when taking your time. I use the razor to shave my head (since not much hair grows there anyway). I enjoy the close shave that it provides when using. I don’t like to have to shave the same spot over and over again and this razor provides a good clean look when using. Package is t that easy to open without using additional tools but razor is very sleek and stylish once open. Gillette has a great product here and I strongly recommend you give it a try! Here is how I use mine: have a cup of water ready to rinsing, put on the shave cream and after 2-3 swipes of ge razor, rinse off and repeat. If you are looking for a really good basic razor the Gillette Mach 3 is definitely what you need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after a week of semi thick growth I decided it was time to shave off the neck beard. I got out my favorite shave soap, got a nice white foam going and commenced on the close shave. To my slight disappointment it didn't perform as well as I had hoped. It quickly got clogged up with hair within 3/4 of an inch of cut. I could have thrown this razor to the wolves on the first go. Maybe for the everyday shave or the 5 o'clock shadow it would be great. If you are the lumberjack or rugged mountain man who needs a trim, this one may not be for you.

Now, 16 years later I can attest that this still holds true. I have tried many razors even mail order types and nothing can come close to the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I was throughly impressed by this razor on first use, I was not as impressed the second time around. The comfort of the handle is on point, and my first shave felt fabulous, especially after the last year of razor club razors. The second shave (my beard is not as thick as others) seemed like it had already deteriorated the blade and did not feel as good as the first. I have not had a chance to try it again, but if my 10th shave feels as good as my second, I will up my rating on this product. As a user of many different razors over the years, including many Gillette product (like my shaving cream!) I would say this fits the bill as average, and we shall see over time if it's "excellent"

Us guys remember getting these sent to us numerous times on our 18th birthdays and such, this razor has stood the test of time. No frills, no 50 razor scams, 3 blades that do the job perfectly. You want a great razor that gives a great shave for a low price? BUY THIS RAZOR, you won't be disappointed.

The razors are great, the blades are sharp, & my skin comes away looking the smoothest ever. I forgot to mention that the blades stay strong even after being used for more than 10 times. Durability is key to a good razor and a good brand. Gillette is one of the best. I will certainly purchase this product once I need to re-fill my blades.

I'm a fan of razors with more blades, this one had three and I thought I would give it a shot. It clogged really easy and didn't glide across my face like some razors I have used it the past do. It did an okay job of getting the hair.I probably wont use it again but I am glad that I tried it so I know. I would recommend this to a friend because of the price and because it did get the hair but I would not buy it myself .
