I've used disposable ones all my life and I have to say, I won't be going back. This gives a really close shave without causing the redness and discomfort that you can get from disposable razors. It's really sturdy as well, due to the fact that this is metal and not plastic. I would highly recommend you give this razor a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mach 3 razor appears to be a pretty good razor...No razor burn and my shave was smooth.. The blades easily attach and detach and last through a few shaves. The handle is very light almost to the point of thinking it might break with a little too much pressure... Overall the Mach 3 razor by Gillette shaves well enough, I just wish the handle was a bit larger...

For comfort and closeness of shave I'd rate this nearly as high as my favorite four blade refillable razor and higher than the better quality disposable razors that are available. The handle is comfortable to hold. I didn't nick myself at all but I rarely do any more with any razor. It glides easily over my face. I would definitely recommend the Gillette Mach3 razor and would consider purchasing it in the future if I would get a better deal on it than my favorite four blade refillable razor.

I have been using Mach3 razors for many tears, probably 30. I got my last order (Amazon) and right away look different. Didn't know Gillete changed the lub strip. I thought was a "fake" product as the package says is made in Poland and the above change. That's why I ended here. Whatever you did, it was definitively in the wrong direction. The strip gets super "gluey", like if the blade has been underwater for a week. Not sure if this has anything to do, but a brand new blade feels like is 1 month old and ready to be replaced. Are you going to do smthg about it? If yes, what is the plan? Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this razor I was expecting something different, I let my beard grow out a little because I was on vacation. I was expecting the ame type of shave as my previous disposable razor. That did not happen, the Mach3 glided along my face lines and when it reached the long stubble, it didn’t grab and pull on the hair. It actually cut through the stubble without irritating my skin or the yanking feeling on parts of my chin and neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach3 provided a very good shave, however to achieve a really close shave I had to go over the same spots multiple times. To its credit the lubrication strip allowed me to do multiple passes without any noticeable redness or chafing. The feel of the razor seemed a bit ‘light’ but that could be due to me being used to a much sturdier and heavy razor. As for the longevity of the blades, I have used it five times so far and the fifth shave seemed to do just as good a job as the first. Overall the Mach3 provided as good as or slightly better shave then comparable three blade razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Mach 3 years ago but have been using some of the club blades for the past few years. Trying this razor and blade again since they are supposed to last a long time and be better. I did find it provided a good clean smooth shave, and found no issues with clogging. I have fairly thin hair and usually use a 4 blade so the fact there was such space between each blade was surprising, I think that someone that has issues with thick coarse beard and clogging of the razor would really benefit from this blade. I did like the shave, for the razor it self it felt really light and dainty I am used to a much heavier handle and felt like I didn't have the same control I usually do. It seems the blades and handle are more like a disposable than something I would buy for everyday use. matching it up to a club blade side by side shows why it feels so light, it has much less material to it and if the price is right I think I may use these for travel rather than take my more hefty handle and blades. all in all its a decent razor but missed having an edger single grooming blade on it as well felt a bit to light and cheap for my everyday use taste .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been several years since I have shaved with a Gillette Mach 3 razor. I forgot how great a shave I could get with this reliable standard. I found the shave as good as I can get from much more expensive razors. I also found that when I use Gillette ProFusion Clear Shaving gel it made the shave very comfortable, effortless and very close. I am now using Mach 3 razor blades everyday and couldn’t be more pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach 3 is one of the best razors with disposable blades. The handle is comfortable to hold and maneuver across your face. The blades conform to the curves of your face so there is less of a need to shave in different directions to get a close shave. I'm not sure if the lubrication strip is doing anything or if it's just a gimmick but it's there so I'll think of it as a benefit. There isn't an edging blade on the back of the blade head which is a disappointment. The three blades seems to be sweet spot for the number of blades, any more is just a gimmick, IMO, and doesn't add any additional benefit to the shave. While the price of the refills seems to be slightly less expensive than others, I still feel they are on the expensive side. Nice razor, close shave, and easy to use; I do recommend.
