[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was the light weight of the razor. It just didn't feel as good as some of the other razors I have tried. The handle was so thin, I felt like I wasn't getting enough pressure while shaving. The shave was good, not great. It is an average razor, all in all.

I use the razor to shave my head (since not much hair grows there anyway). I enjoy the close shave that it provides when using. I don’t like to have to shave the same spot over and over again and this razor provides a good clean look when using. Package is t that easy to open without using additional tools but razor is very sleek and stylish once open. Gillette has a great product here and I strongly recommend you give it a try! Here is how I use mine: have a cup of water ready to rinsing, put on the shave cream and after 2-3 swipes of ge razor, rinse off and repeat. If you are looking for a really good basic razor the Gillette Mach 3 is definitely what you need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No complaints here. The Gillette Mach 3 razor cut my thick beard pretty well and didn't leave me feeling raw afterward. I have used a lot of different razors over the years and these are about average. No complaints, but no "WOW!" factor either. They are a nice steady choice that pretty much everybody will enjoy using. I shaved with the razor three times, then my wife used it on her legs with no complaints either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after a week of semi thick growth I decided it was time to shave off the neck beard. I got out my favorite shave soap, got a nice white foam going and commenced on the close shave. To my slight disappointment it didn't perform as well as I had hoped. It quickly got clogged up with hair within 3/4 of an inch of cut. I could have thrown this razor to the wolves on the first go. Maybe for the everyday shave or the 5 o'clock shadow it would be great. If you are the lumberjack or rugged mountain man who needs a trim, this one may not be for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe the first time I was introduced to the Gillette Mach3 razor was around 2002 and it was fantastic for it's time. Now, 16 years later I can attest that this still holds true. I have tried many razors even mail order types and nothing can come close to the quality.

The Mach 3 razor blades give the closest, most comfortable shave ever. Hubby has been using them since they debuted a couple of decades ago. He's tried others but none come close. We highly recommend them to all. Ordering thru Walmart.com is easy and the cost is much cheaper than anywhere else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I was throughly impressed by this razor on first use, I was not as impressed the second time around. The comfort of the handle is on point, and my first shave felt fabulous, especially after the last year of razor club razors. The second shave (my beard is not as thick as others) seemed like it had already deteriorated the blade and did not feel as good as the first. I have not had a chance to try it again, but if my 10th shave feels as good as my second, I will up my rating on this product. As a user of many different razors over the years, including many Gillette product (like my shaving cream!) I would say this fits the bill as average, and we shall see over time if it's "excellent"

Us guys remember getting these sent to us numerous times on our 18th birthdays and such, this razor has stood the test of time. No frills, no 50 razor scams, 3 blades that do the job perfectly. You want a great razor that gives a great shave for a low price? BUY THIS RAZOR, you won't be disappointed.

These razors have been the ones I have used since I was 15 and started shaving. They were fine and lasted a few shaves up until the lubrication strip was 'upgraded' now they last not even one before just sliding around my face and not cutting the hair, while giving me atrocious razor burn. Bring back the old lubrication strips!
