I have been a Mach 3 user for 5 years. Over the past year and a half I have found that the Mach 3 blades even unused blades are rusting out just sitting in the package in my drawer. The last pack lasted less than 3 months and the blades rusted out. This did not used to happen years ago it is a recent issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the brand Gillette and liked using the razor for my face it did a nice job but i did not completely love it for the simple fact i like my razor blades to be a 5 blade. I feel like I getting a closer shave and have to go over my course hair less.

I have tried all the other blades out there,4 blade,5 blade shavers and have always come back to the Mach 3 shaver,it has always provided a consistent close,smooth head shave.If you are looking for a great shaver to shave your head,Mach 3 is the best out there hands down!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally shave with a safety razor and since I got to try this out I would see what the hype is with shaving with more than one blade at a time. Turns out the blades were not nearly as sharp as my safety blade. It took me 3 passes to clear an area of my neck 1 pass with my safety razor does. The Gillette Mach3 is not as sharp as what I'm use to. Now saying that I do like the lubricating strip on the razor. That is really a nice touch I'm not use to. And also it seemed even though it took more passes to shave this razor didn't Nick my skin at all.

First of all the 5 pack of blades was replaced by a 4 pack. To make me feel better, Gillette tells me that I can get up to 60 shaves or 15 per blade from this 4 pack. I shave every other day and used ample amounts of Gillette Fusion5 shaving gel. I am not getting anywhere near 15 shaves per blade. I am not getting 10 shaves per blade. I don't know if the quality of the MACH3 product has gone downhill or if the material that id being used is inferior. I am 82 years old and started using Gillette shaving products while serving in the US Navy in the late 50s. What is happening with your shaving products?

I do a lot of dry shaving and the Mach 3 does a great job with no pulling or razor burn. Unlike the multi-blade razors, the three blades rinse clean and the Mach 3 is ready for next time. Recommended .

I forgot how close of a shave these Mach3 razors are and how extremely smooth i got. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. My girlfriend also tried it and now i have to get more!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put two stars because this is a good razor, that is sharp and do the job. Is it enough? No! The first impression it give is poor. The packaging is very basic and looks like a packaging from 20 years ago. I would never stop on this on based on the packaging if I was facing a row full of razors. The blades are precise and I can do the job by passing on my chick only once, without too much pressure. However the lubrification strip is truly basic and close to a very first price razor. This razor has a precise cut for a clean finish however I expect more from a razor. It has to be more modern, with extra features, extra lubrification strips, confortable handle...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mach III is the gold standard of razor blades. Not too many blades, they don’t irritate your face, and they are super easy to use, and clean. The glide strip works and I find myself getting excellent shaves from one blade for about two weeks before I have to change it. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. And I want to say I have tried the cheap competitor that makes it bleed very similar to this that will fit in your handle, but truth be told they are not quite the same and they don’t do quite as good a job. So spend a couple more bucks and get the best shape but you can never have. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. Shaving now for nearly 50 years, I've tried almost all the razors out there, from a single blade to a 5-blade. This Gillette is a 3-blade razor, which is perfect for me, because when there are more than 3 blades, then I dispose them quicker as those blades get clogged fast. The over sized head kinda threw me at first, but while using it, there was nothing but comfort. Did it give me a close, and comfortable shave...Yes it did! I am going to be buying refills for this razor, rather than the one I have been using. Gillette certainly knocked one out of the park, with the Mach3.
