Shaving now for nearly 50 years, I've tried almost all the razors out there, from a single blade to a 5-blade. This Gillette is a 3-blade razor, which is perfect for me, because when there are more than 3 blades, then I dispose them quicker as those blades get clogged fast. The over sized head kinda threw me at first, but while using it, there was nothing but comfort. Did it give me a close, and comfortable shave...Yes it did! I am going to be buying refills for this razor, rather than the one I have been using. Gillette certainly knocked one out of the park, with the Mach3.

I hadn't used the Mach 3 since the late 90's. I wish I had never stopped because anything more than 3 blades causes severe irritation, no matter what I tried. I went back to this old Mach 3 with absolutely zero irritation. I would assume because it doesn't have all those unnecessary blades, it's angled, and spaced perfectly. I'm permanently going back to the Mach 3.

Over the past 6 months to a year, the blades are NOT the same blades that my husband had. I tried the blades my husband had and they worked well enough that I bought a Mach3 razor. Since buying new blades over the past 6 months to a year, the blades do NOT shave close to the skin, and go dull after 2 or 3 shaves. Although as a female, I'm shaving a lot more areas, the blades shouldn't dull after two shavings. The only thing I like is that the moisture strip doesn't get slimy like many other razor blades that have a moisture strip.

I've had 2 of these razors for probably 20 plus years (one for travel). Bought another one recently to keep at another location and to my surprise they're no longer including the plastic storage platform which held the razor in the front and refills in the back. All you get now is a cheap cardboard container for shipping. C'mon Gillette, did it really cost that much to include the holder??? Really disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing that comes into my mind buying a Razor is the way the Razor goes onto my skin. The Handle of this Razor is ok, almost a little too small. But that is just a preference thing. The Razor has three blades and a Moisturizing strip. What I am missing is the precision trimmer on the back. I always use that one to closely shave on the upper lip. Most Razors don't remove the hairs that are close to the nose, so doesn't this Razor. For me this is important. The Three Blades that this razor have are good and work for weeks without getting dull. If you don't need the precision trimmer you are good with this Razor. Love Gillette anyways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach 3 Razor was a surprize to my face.When I first felt the razor I thought it might be too light to give me a close shave.Also I get the classic five o clock shadow,so I thought I would have to go over my face about three times,but no.The Mach 3 was a smooth shave the first time and left my face smooth with no stubble.The razor was light weight but comfortable.Shaved with a shaving gel one day and a cream and did not gunk up and had a great shave both times. Got almost two weeks out of this one razor and I shave every other day and I have hairs of steel!This Gillette Mach 3 Razor is a razor I highly recommend because I feel from sensitive to tough facial hairs this razor will get the shaving job done and will be your go to razor.

It only takes me about 5 minutes to shave my head and goatee ! The grip of the handle is light and free and is easy to use . It’s not heavy to use . It give me a clean shave everytime I shave !

I purchased a 5 pack of Mach3 razors and the first one in the pack failed to pivot. It locked into a position and resulted in very poor performance. I disposed of it and went to a second blade. Same issue. C'mon man! These are expensive items and I expect them to work. One bad one can be accepted, but two for two failed. Not good!

I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this razor has held up to time. It provided a smooth shave, with no nicks, cuts or irritation. So far I have gotten a dozen great shaves out of this!
