[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I was throughly impressed by this razor on first use, I was not as impressed the second time around. The comfort of the handle is on point, and my first shave felt fabulous, especially after the last year of razor club razors. The second shave (my beard is not as thick as others) seemed like it had already deteriorated the blade and did not feel as good as the first. I have not had a chance to try it again, but if my 10th shave feels as good as my second, I will up my rating on this product. As a user of many different razors over the years, including many Gillette product (like my shaving cream!) I would say this fits the bill as average, and we shall see over time if it's "excellent"

I forgot how close of a shave these Mach3 razors are and how extremely smooth i got. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. My girlfriend also tried it and now i have to get more!!

I loved this razor until recently. I have bought three new handles and none of them will attach to my blades. I now have 10 blades without a handle that accepts them. Yes I am using the correct handle unless the one you sell with the blades is wrong. It should be a simple thing to make your blades fit the handle you sell with it.

Pitiful longivity is WHAT you can expect nowadays with Gillete Mach 3 refills. Been loyal to this brand & particular blade since it's release in mid 1998, however, I can no longer expect them to deliver a crisp smooth shave after 1 or 2 uses as before. Yeah I get it, I'm getting OLD & things change but .... I'm very systematic with using warm water to cleanse / clean the blades before setting them to dry face up in the razor stand. There is a lot of joy when shaving with a NEW blade but forget that experience after the 2nd. shave & that alone raises the cost of using them out of my bathroom entirely. They just simply don't last very long anymore !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been several years since I have shaved with a Gillette Mach 3 razor. I forgot how great a shave I could get with this reliable standard. I found the shave as good as I can get from much more expensive razors. I also found that when I use Gillette ProFusion Clear Shaving gel it made the shave very comfortable, effortless and very close. I am now using Mach 3 razor blades everyday and couldn’t be more pleased.

It gives you an incredible clean shave and no irritation. The blades stay very sharp for me for longer than other brand razors which equates to a nice cost savings. It is also very nice and convenient that they are sold just about everywhere so grabbing a replacement blade pack is easy. I can and do easily recommend the Mach 3 as one of the best razors on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Time to switch razors.. I decided to switch to the Gillette Mach 3 and wanted to give a little more than 2cents. I had approx 4-5 days of growth , so here's the verdict. I lathered up grabbed the Mach 3 and was ready to attack this growth. At first, the razor glided through the beard without snagging and this was a plus for me. But as I made some headway through shaving, I did notice a few key things. The beard was not coming completely off. I do not have a thick beard but it was about 4 maybe 5 days of growth. I had to go back and hit the area another 3 to 5 times so it was clean and neat. This was true for the rest of the face as well. The upper lip area seemed to come off somewhat easier so this was only a 2-3 passes to completely clean it up. I will say the lubrication strip was really plentiful and left somewhat of a nice softness to the skin and didn't get sticky. So my initial review of the first use was not too favorable, it felt like it was more work than it was worth. But I will not let this deter my trying out this Mach 3 razor for another round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy having a beard and mustache but use a disposable razor to keep it looking nice and trimmed. Gillette is my go to brand and I was happy to try Gillette Mach 3. The blades have my a nice close shave it was easy to use and and worked well in getting the right curves needed for me to trim my beard. It was a close shave but didn’t irritate my skin what so ever. I enjoyed the way I looked afterwords and even got compliments from my family afte the shave. I would purchase this and recommend. I received the product for free to try.

My husband uses the MACH3 for his everyday shaving and one day I was out of my razors so I borrowed one of his, well I haven't gone back to my old razors yet and probably never will. The MACH3 leaves my legs so smooth! I have to shave often because we live in Texas where it is hotttt, with the MACH3 I don't get razor burn or ingrown hairs - even when the razor is ready to be retired it still works great.

I used this razor for several years. However, over the last year I noticed a change in the quality of the shave. I now get razor burn and bumps as well as having to shave more often. I used to get a smooth shave and it stayed nice for 24 hours. Now, by the afternoon time after shaving with this blade, my skin is irritated and my hair is making my face rough. It's really frustrating. I tried the Proglide Shield and it actually hurts to shave with this razor. Any suggestions are welcome.
